Final Weekend for Certain Divisions

THANK YOU EPIC, SCHOOLYARD & 6U, 16U, 19U DIVISIONS!
This weekend was the FINAL weekend for our EPIC, Schoolyard, 6U, 16U and 19U Divisions. It was truly a pleasure for all of us to help engage with your youth soccer players and help increase their knowledge of the game of soccer. We hope all of you had a fantastic season and we look forward to seeing all of you again in the Spring.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR OUR OTHER DIVISIONS
Here a quick list of what's next for our other AYSO 1463 divisions.

8U Division
As long as you've completed your required Volunteer Points, you are invited to attend the Gem of the Valley event on Saturday, November 16th. There you'll get a chance to participate in one final game and partake in our Gem of the Valley activities. We'll have vendors on hand and it'll be a lot of fun. We look forward to seeing you there.

10U, 12U, 14U Divisions
As long as you've completed your required Volunteer Points, you'll be invited to partake in the Gem of the Valley Cup on Saturday, November 16th (Elimination Rounds) & Sunday, November 17th (Championship Games). More information on the the Cup will be provided by this upcoming weekend. It's going to a great time and we look forward to hosting it.

The winners of the Gem of the Valley Cup tournament will be declared their division's AYSO 1463 Champions and will move on to play at Area 1R Playoffs on Saturday, November 23rd. More information on the Area 1R Playoffs to come.

EXTRA Program
Games continue on throughout November 2024, then it's on to tournament season in the spring. Best of luck on your games! Make AYSO 1463 proud.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Due to the large amount of variables and considerations our Region must make for every single one of our teams, requests to rearrange the schedule in any way will not be honored. The only consideration that will be allowed is if there is an error on our end that requires a fix. Other than this, requests of any sort will not be allowed.

If Head Coaches are unavailable for any reason, an Asst. Coach will need to fill in. If an Asst. Coach is unavailable, a certified Team Manager will need to step in. If all three are unavailable, the Head Coach will need to contact the Region 1463 Board to make other arrangements.

(10/11) IMPORTANT UPDATE (PLEASE REVIEW!)

NEW PARKING ARRANGEMENT FOR SATURDAY & SUNDAY GAMEDAYS
AYSO 1463 families.

The City of Murrieta has received concerns from neighboring residents about the high volume of cars parked on local streets during our Saturday gamedays. In response they have directed us to implement a new parking arrangement for Saturday and Sunday gamedays ONLY.

Please note: This update does not apply to weekday practices.

NO PARKING ON SILVER OAKS DRIVE
Please make sure that we do not park down Silver Oaks drive.
This is very important and we kindly ask for your cooperation on the matter.

PARKING LOCATIONS FOR ALL

(1) Warm Springs Middle School Parking Lot
39245 Calle de Fortuna, Murrieta, Ca. 92563

* Feel free to park in the Warm Springs Middle School parking lot
* Once parked you will head in the direction of the Warm Springs fields (as seen in the graphic above)

Note Re Handicapped Spots: Handicapped Spots are available in the School parking lot.
A ramp that leads down to the fields is located next to the stairs that lead to field #3.

(2) Torrey Pines Park Parking Lot
* Feel free to park in the Torrey Pines Park parking lot as usual (no restrictions)

(3) Torrey Pines Road
You may continue to park on Torrey Pines Road as this area is not directly impacting residential homes.

In summary, for this Saturday and all remaining weekends of the season, please park in the designated areas above to help us comply with city guidelines. With the additional parking at Warm Springs Middle School, we anticipate this will greatly ease parking issues for all of you and address neighborhood concerns.

The Epic program (Everyone Plays In our Community) is specially designed to support players with special needs. This program provides a quality soccer experience for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate in the core program.

EPIC PROGRAM INFO

SCHOOLYARD PROGRAM (SATURDAY MORNINGS!)

SCHOOLYARD PROGRAM
The objective of this program is to provide young players and their parents with a “pressure free” introduction to the beautiful game of soccer. At this age, players should be exposed to soccer by playing simple, fun activities and games that require little to no practice, and a minimal time commitment.

Session Frequency: Once a week / Every Saturday Morning

Session Times:
Each session timeframe will have a maximum of 10 Schoolyard children with 1 Master Coach & AYSO Support Head Coaches.

COACH ORIENTATION (ALL HEAD & ASSISTANT COACHES)
Date: Monday, August 12th, 2024
Time: 6:30pm (Ends: 8:30pm)
We will be holding an online call with our Coach Staff (Head and Asst. Coaches) to go over Coach related expectations. This will be a Zoom online meeting. A link to the call will be provided by our Coach Admin, Josh Schwarz via email days before the call.

Notes:
* All of our divisions and programs will take part in our Fall 2024 Picture Day! This includes EPIC, Schoolyard, Core, and Extra Program teams. We look forward to seeing all of our youth soccer players and their Coaches in attendance for a fun-filled day at the fields.

* August 24th will be the only opportunity to take pictures. A make-up date will not be possible this season, so please try and do everything you can to attend this Saturday.
