INTERMEDIATE REFEREE COURSE
Dates: Two Part Course (Must Attend Both Days)
Part 1: Friday, January 30 (6pm-9pm)
Part 2: Saturday, January 31 (9am-5pm)

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this course is to train Regional Referees in all aspects of refereeing and develop skills that will allow the referee to officiate soccer matches that are more physically demanding and challenging under the IFAB Laws of the Game (LOTG) and AYSO National Rules & Regulations.
COURSE PRE-REQUISITES
Candidates are required to have completed the Regional Referee Certification, either the Full In-Person Regional Referee Course or the Regional Referee Online Course + Regional Referee Online Companion In-Person Course Bundle prior to enrolling in the course.
In addition, the following must be complete and/or up-to-date:
(1) Be a current AYSO volunteer for the Spring 2026 season (i.e. Submit a volunteer application as a referee for your region)
(2) Completed the following safety certifications:
A | Safe Haven
B | CDC Concussion Course
C | Cardiac Arrest Course
D | Safe Sport Online Course
Basic Additional Information
* There is an outdoor portion to the course. Please be sure to dress comfortably.
* Snacks, water and other refreshments will be provided. Lunch provided on Saturday
* Bring the following with you: pen, paper/pad to write on for note taking
