Friend / Coach Requests FYI

Per AYSO guidelines, Friend and/or Coach requests are not permitted for standard Core/Competitive play. All players will be randomly placed on teams through our registration portal. Placing siblings on the same team is the only exception.

Waitlist Information

The waitlist is usually turned on after the regular registration deadline or if the maximum number (cut off number) has been reached prior to the last day of registration.

We utilize the waitlist as a "pause button" to determine if we can make more teams or to "fill in" for dropped players.
Moving off of the waitlist may take a few weeks and some patience, but you will be contacted via email if your player has been "activated" from the waitlist.
Once you are activated from the waitlist, you have 48 hours to pay to get your child on the team at that point.
No player that registers is guaranteed to play, as this is ALWAYS based on the number of VOLUNTEER coaches that are available for your child's division.
It's possible that a player can jump off of the waitlist if a parent of a waitlisted player volunteers to be a HEAD coach for the division where coaches are still needed. Please contact us if interested.
Players are put back on the waitlist in a backwards chronological order to instill fairness for our process, if we run out of volunteer coaches.

Other practice fields will be made available to your AYSO 1463 Coaches. These fields are ones that have been approved by our region and the City of Murrieta and are close in proximity to our Torey Pines main field.

Practice Days & Times
Practices will occur sometime between Mondays - Fridays anywhere from 5pm - Sundown.
Head Coaches will select their practice days and times based on field availability. Parents will be notified of their practice days and times once their team has been formed and their Coach is selected.

Gamedays
* For our Schoolyard, 6U, 8U divisions all games will happen on Saturdays. Times will vary based on the schedule. All games are played at Warm Springs Middle School fields.

* For our 10U & 12U core divisions, a vast majority of your games will happen on Saturday. There may be a very occasional weeknight game but these do not occur often. All games are played at Warm Springs Middle School fields.

* For 14U-19U core divisions, a majority of your games will occur on Saturdays but you will also have a number of weeknight games. About 50% of your games will be played in Murrieta while the other 50% will be at the fields of our neighboring regions. These regions includes ones from Area 1R and 1N.

Beaumont, French Valley, Hemet, Menifee, Moreno Valley, Perris, Riverside, Mountains and more

Fees Cover the Following

REGISTRATION FEES COVER THE FOLLOWING

Fees will cover the following costs for the upcoming Spring 2026 Season:

Administrative Fees
a. Provides funding for new AYSO 1463 Equipment & General Upkeep of Current Equipment
b. Provides funding for City of Murrieta and MVUSD Park Fees
c. Covers AYSO 1463 Administrative Fees
d. Covers the AYSO National Player Insurance Fee - $25 fee goes directly to AYSO National
NOTE: If a refund request is honored by AYSO 1463, the refund will subtract $25 for the National Fee as well as $10 for AYSO 1463 Processing Fees.

e. Covers the Volunteer Membership Program Fee (Sterling Background Check & Live Scan)
AYSO National has upgraded to a Level 2 Background Check process via Sterling Background Checks. This is a more expensive but more in-depth check. As a result AYSO 1463 will need to pay $25 for every Volunteer to the program.

AYSO National also requires all AYSO regions to ensure that all volunteers take and complete Live Scan background checks. Each of these checks costs on average about $25 per volunteer.

In order to avoid asking Volunteers for $50 out of pocket, AYSO 1463 has elected to subsidize this amount to all players registered. This amounts to about $9 per player.

EPIC PROGRAM - SPECIAL NEEDS (ANY BIRTH YEAR)
The Epic program (Everyone Plays In our Community) is specially designed to support players with special needs. This program provides a quality soccer experience for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate in the core program.

* One session per week / Day of the week is TBD (Weekday is very likely)
* 8 Week Program
* 45 minute training sessions and scrimmage

EPIC PROGRAM INFO

SCHOOLYARD PROGRAM (BORN: 2021-2023)
The objective of this program is to provide young players and their parents with a “pressure free” introduction to the beautiful game of soccer. At this age, players should be exposed to soccer by playing simple, fun activities and games that require little to no practice, and a minimal time commitment.

* One session per week / Day of the week is TBD (Saturday is more than likely)
* 8 Week Program
* Small co-ed groups
* 45 minute training sessions with some time for a short scrimmage

CORE DIVISION PROGRAM

6U DIVISION (BORN: 2020)
* 8 Week Season
* Teams will be single gendered for Spring 2026
* Practices occur once a week and are at the discretion of the Head Coach
* Games occur once a week on Saturdays

8U DIVISION (BORN: 2018 & 2019)
10U DIVISION (BORN: 2016 & 2017)
12U DIVISION (BORN: 2014 & 2015)
* 8 Week Season and includes a possible ninth week for the Gem of the Valley Cup tournament. Teams must qualify to play in this tournament by completing team required Volunteer Points. More information on this to come soon.
* Practices occur twice a week during weekdays. Specific days are at the discretion of the Head Coach
* Games occur once a week on Saturdays with the possibility of an occasional weeknight game (rare)

14U DIVISION (BORN 2012 & 2013)
16U DIVISION (BORN: 2010 & 2011)
19U DIVISION (BORN: 2007, 2008, 2009)
* 8-9 Week Season

Important Notes for the 14U - 19U Divisions:
* We will be moving forward with Single Gendered teams for the Spring Season
* Interleague play vs. Other Regions. These divisions will more than likely interleague with other regions which means some travel will be involved.

Cities involved may include:
Beaumont, French Valley, Hemet, Menifee, Moreno Valley, Mountains, Riverside, Perris and More.

* Practices occur twice a week during weekdays. Specific days are at the discretion of the Head Coach
* Games can either be played on Saturdays and/or on Weekday evenings

CORE PROGRAM INFORMATION

Refund Policy

REFUND REQUEST DEADLINE
The last day to submit for a refund request for the Spring 2026 Program is end of day 1/04/2026. Refund requests from 1/05/2026 and on will no longer be honored as funds provided have been used for Uniforms, Equipment, City Park fees and much more.

Please note that by 1/04/2026 we will not have finalized information on Coaches, team formation or practice days and times since practices are solely at the discretion of the Head Coach's schedule. Practices tend to occur during the week, Monday through Friday, anywhere from 5pm - Sundown.
