Travel Teams -- Player Registration Instructions for Invited Players
We use the GotSport system for travel player registration. If you have an account, log into your existing account. If you are new to our travel program, create an account. (The system is not the same as our AYSO registration system.)
The registration link will be provided to invited players.
>> Upload a current photo of your player’s face (color, similar to passport pic).
>> Upload a scan or photo of your player’s birth certificate or passport.
>> Pay the registration fee by credit card.
IMPORTANT - If your player has not attended an evaluation, and been explicitly invited, by club leadership or a coach, DO NOT REGISTER, even if someone sends you a link. This will create confusion and more work for our travel registrar, and your player will ultimately be unregistered.
WHAT COMES NEXT
>> Coaches will send a welcome letter and communicate necessary info as it becomes available in the months leading up to the start of the season, such as uniform purchasing, and any other team business.
>> The WYSL fall season opener is usually the second Sunday in September. The NYCSL opener may be earlier. Actual schedules are shared when the league publishes them. Travel teams generally begin to practice in early September, although some manage to fit in some pre-season practices.
>> Club leadership will also be in touch ahead of season start with a kickoff message and any guidelines for that season.
