Players will interact with their virtual coach through the Unique Virtual Summer Camp Online Platform each day as they guide each camper through a comprehensive 3 hours of soccer activities per day.
  • Players will receive live sessions from NYCFC and prerecorded sessions from NYCFC, Melbourne City FC, and Manchester City FC youth coaches.
  • Campers will be in classes of 2:12 ratios to allow quality coach-to-player interactions. Campers will also join live interactive webinars and Q&As with NYCFC Youth Programs, NYCFC Academy, and NYCFC team personnel.
  • Each training session is designed to be completed in small spaces of no more than 5 x 5 yards. Sessions are structured around Daily Themes, Ball Manipulation & Skill Zone activities.

Registration FAQs (to be updated when soccer starts up again)

What does it cost for the Spring 2020 AYSO core (recreational) program?
$165* (includes local Rivertowns spring registration fee of $145 and mandatory, non-refundable AYSO National fee of $20)
* There is a $20 sibling discount for players in our AYSO programs. After the first sibling in a family registers, additional siblings receive the discount (does not apply to travel player siblings). The AYSO national fee and discounts get applied at the last step of the checkout process.

Is cost of the uniform included when I register? What about the gear?
No, you need to purchase the uniform and the gear separately. Your registration does NOT include these items.

$40 (approx) for uniform -- you need to order it directly from the vendor and it is delivered to your home
Go to UNIFORMS tab - Rivertowns AYSO Uniforms - for the link to the vendor. Read all the info there before buying.

GEAR cost -- each player brings own ball and purchases own shin guards, available at sporting good stores

What are the Spring 2020 dates?
Opening weekend for Spring 2020 is April 18-19. See AYSO Schedules / Weekend Dates for all Spring 2020 dates.

Are there openings for all players in Spring 2020?
There are limited openings. If your player's age group is full, go through the registration process to be put on a WAITLIST in case any spots open up.

How do I get my player on the waitlist (if needed)?
Enter your player's information and complete the registration (go through all the steps of the shopping cart to the very end). This puts players on the waitlist in our system in the order they sign up. There is no charge and credit card info is not collected. You will get an email confirming you are on the waitlist -- this is how you know you did it correctly. If a slot opens up, you will get an email advising you to log back in and complete payment.

1. Click the REGISTER NOW button at the upper right of our web site.

2. New families: Create an account, with a memorable username and password.

Returning families: Log back in to your existing account.

3. For each adult in the family, enter them into the system so that they can receive all the emails about schedules, rain outs, special events, and so forth. The system refers to adults as primary and secondary account holders.

4. For each child who will be participating, enter all the required information, select the program and division, fill out the form, accept all the waivers, and type your e-signature on the registration form, then submit the form.

5. For any adult in your family who will be coaching or serving as a volunteer coordinator, register them a volunteer. If you are not sure, just select COACH. There is no payment! This is important because all volunteers who work with our players are background-checked/screened, for the safety of all. This is important because this registration also protects the volunteer by providing supplementary insurance.

6. Check out and pay by credit card.

NOTE: There is considerable information that is NOT required, but appears in the forms because they are templates that cannot be altered. There are some restrictions with the age settings and how children are placed. Please contact us if we need to make an exception for your child because the system settings are too restrictive. For families needing financial assistance, please contact us (do all the steps, but leave the registration in the shopping cart.)
