Welcome to Rivertowns AYSO, Region 324, New York!

Thank you for your interest in our recreational soccer program -- the foundation for all the fun, excitement, and learning that happens on the fields! It is where kids fall in love with soccer and make memories that last a lifetime. Please read everything so you are fully informed before you sign up.

Rivertowns AYSO recreational soccer is a weekend program that includes age-appropriate and engaging soccer activities for players from preschool through high school. In addition to devoted parent volunteers, a highlight of our program is that NYCFC Coaches provide professional training and a world-class soccer curriculum at all age levels -- complementing the efforts of the parent coaches.

Our recreational program runs for 2 seasons -- fall and spring. If there is no opening in your age group. we encourage you to register for the waitlist.

A parent or guardian must be present for each child's session. Do not sign up siblings at the same or overlapping session times unless a parent or guardian can be present for each. The fields are not adjacent.

COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Parent coaches lead teams 3rd grade through high school. For younger ages, parent coaches serve a supporting role, assisting the NYCFC Coaches who run the sessions. Can't coach but want to help? Sign up as a division coordinator. PROGRAM COSTS - prorated as of October 1, 2025:

$325 -- Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 Rivertowns AYSO program fee *** prorated to $265 ***

+ $25 -- AYSO National Player Fee (non-refundable)

+ $3.50 -- transaction fee (non-refundable)

+ $45 -- Rivertowns AYSO uniform fee (non-refundable / purchased for NEW players after registering)

Returning players can continue to wear their uniforms from prior years if they fit.

Mixed middle / high school girls pilot program fee is $225 since that group will operate differently than the others. *** prorated to $180 ***

Clinic for 3rd/4th/5th/6th graders fee is $125 since that group meets only in Fall 2025. *** prorated to $65 ***

ORDERING UNIFORMS:

You order the uniform directly from the vendor after you register (if you don't have a Rivertowns AYSO uniform from a prior year).

WORKAROUND IF YOUR CHILD IS "OLD" FOR THEIR GRADE:

The AYSO registration system forces players into groups by birth year. We can't change that setting

Workaround if your player is "old" for their grade: Enter a year younger birth year - this will allow you to register for their school grade.

PARENTS NEED TO GET THEIR PLAYERS THE REQUIRED GEAR (if they don't have it already)

>> Soccer ball (you have to bring it each week))

Size 3 ball - PreK, K, 1st grade, 2nd grade

Size 4 ball - 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th grades

Size 5 ball - 7th, 8th, high school grades

>> Shin guards (required for ALL ages -- player safety)

>> Cleats (optional - but recommended esp for players 3rd grade and older)

PROGRAM DATES:

Fall 2025 Opening Weekend -- Saturday, September 6 / Sunday, September7

Spring 2026 Opening Weekend -- Saturday, April 11 / Sunday, April 12

End dates vary by age group. No soccer on holiday weekends.

LOCATION OF CLASSES/TRAININGS

(generally - we will notify you of any changes or exceptions):

>> Preschool & kindergarten - Saturdays - Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Soccer Field

>> Preschool - Sundays - Ardsley Middle School (AMS), Ardsley, NY

>> Kindergarten - Sundays - Pascone Park, Ardsley, NY

>> 1st & 2nd grade - Pascone Park, Ardsley, NY

>> 3/4/5/6/7/8th grade and high school - Concord Road Elementary School, Ardsley, NY

Game location varies by age group. Team coaches will communicate the game location.

RESPECT OUR FIELDS: We are grateful to the villages and schools for the use of their fields and facilities. We are guests. We ask that all players and parents treat the equipment, fields, and grounds with respect. No dogs except service dogs, per the policies of the villages and schools.

REGISTERING FOR THE WAITLIST: When a session is full, register for the waitlist in the system. If a spot opens up, we contact you. You are not obliged to take the spot, but if you do want it, you have to log back in and pay within 48 hours. We will send a status update to waitlist families about a week before opening weekend. Signing up for the waitlist is just like registering for a class but without payment. You will get an email confirmation if you do it correctly.

TEAM/GROUP PLACEMENT: Division coordinators place players in groups.

THE SCHEDULE BELOW IS A PROJECTION. Groups need to have sufficient enrollment for our organization to be able to run them. If a group is under-enrolled, we may adjust the schedule or combine similar ages, Please be aware of this when you register.
