Welcome to Rivertowns AYSO, Region 324, New York!

Thank you for your interest in our recreational soccer program -- the foundation for all the fun, excitement, and learning that happens on the fields! It is where kids fall in love with soccer and make memories that last a lifetime. Please read everything so you are fully informed before you sign up.

Rivertowns AYSO recreational soccer is a weekend program that includes age-appropriate and engaging soccer activities for players from preschool through high school. In addition to devoted parent volunteers, a highlight of our program is that NYCFC Coaches provide professional training and a world-class soccer curriculum at all age levels -- complementing the efforts of the parent coaches.

IMPORTANT: THE PROGRAM IS NOT A DROP OFF. A parent or guardian must be present for each child's session.

$350 Rivertowns AYSO Program Fee + $25 non-refundable-AYSO National Player Fee

You are registering for two seasons of soccer - Fall 2026 / Spring 2027. There is no option to register for Fall 2026 only.

UNIFORM IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ABOVE COST! The uniform ordering link will be provided in your registration confirmation email. You order and pay for your uniform directly from the vendor and it gets shipped to your home. If your player already has a uniform from a prior year, and it still fits -- they can keep wearing it.

Preschool and kindergarten sessions - Ardsley Middle School (AMS) or Pascone Park

First and second grade sessions - Pascone Park, Ardsley, New York

3rd grade through high school practices and home games - Ardsley Middle School (AMS)

PROGRAM DATES: Fall 2026 Opening Weekend is Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13

Fall 2026 - September to November. No soccer Columbus Day weekend. See link for details!

GAME SCHEDULES:

>> PreK through 2nd grade sessions are clinics and there is not a separate game day.

>> 3rd grade through high school teams practice Saturdays and play games on Sundays. Game schedules come out a week before opening weekend.

VOLUNTEERING TO COACH: We welcome you to register as a coach when you register your player! Training is provided - free, convenient, online!

3rd grade through high school - parent coaches lead the teams. The number of volunteer coaches determines the number of teams we can form.

PreK, K, 1st grade, 2nd grade - NYCFC Coaches lead the sessions. Parent coaches are welcome to help support the professionals and learn the ropes.

REQUIRED GEAR (purchase it, if you don't have it already)

>> Soccer ball (you have to bring it each week))

Size 3 ball - PreK, K, 1st grade, 2nd grade

Size 4 ball - 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th grades

Size 5 ball - 7th, 8th, high school grades

>> Shin guards (required for ALL ages -- player safety)

>> Cleats (optional - but recommended for players 3rd grade and older)

REGISTERING FOR THE WAITLIST: When a session is full, register for the waitlist in the system. If a spot opens up, we contact you. You are not obliged to take the spot, but if you do want it, you have to log back in and pay within 48 hours. We will send a status update to waitlist families about a week before opening weekend. Signing up for the waitlist is just like registering for a class but without payment. You will get an email confirmation if you do it correctly.

WHAT TO DO IF THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM DOES NOT DISPLAY OR ALLOW YOU TO REGISTER FOR YOUR CHILD'S CORRECT SCHOOL GRADE:

In Rivertowns AYSO, sessions and teams are by school grade. If the AYSO registration system does not display or allow you to register for your child's school grade, you may need to adjust their BIRTH YEAR to trick the system, register, then change it back when you have successfully registered.

THE SCHEDULE BELOW IS A PROJECTION. Groups need to have sufficient enrollment for our organization to be able to run them. If a group is under-enrolled, we may need to adjust the schedule or combine similar ages. We will communicate with you if so. Please be aware of this when you register.
