Rivertowns AYSO Uniform FAQs
Who Needs to WEAR a Uniform?
All Rivertowns AYSO players of all age groups need to wear a uniform to their session. Players should wear one color jersey and bring the other. Each session will have scrimmages where players within the group play small-sided matches.
Who Needs to BUY a Uniform?
>>> Players NEW to Rivertowns AYSO or returning players who have outgrown or lost their original uniform.
Can My Player Wear an OLD Rivertowns Uniform?
Yes.
>>> Returning players can wear their uniform until they outgrow it.
>>> Players can wear a hand-me-down from a sibling or friend.
>>> Families do not have to buy a new uniform each time they enroll their players.
What Does the Uniform Cost?
About $45 -- includes uniform, tax, shipping -- and customization with a jersey number that you select for your player.
What is Included in the Rivertowns required uniform?
The uniform includes four items - shown in the image on this page:
>> Rivertowns AYSO blue / home jersey
>> Rivertowns AYSO green / away jersey
>> black shorts
>> black socks
All players need BOTH jerseys.
What Jersey Number Should I Pick for My Player?
ANY number from 0 to 99. Choose a number your child likes or let them pick. You enter the number when you place the order in the "customization" box during ordering. We expect duplicate numbers since players can wear their uniform until they outgrow it -- that is OK!
Can I Get a Refund for the Uniform if My Child Leaves the Program or the Program Gets Cancelled for Any Reason?
Sorry, no. The vendor does not refund purchases or take returns. Rivertowns AYSO cannot refund uniforms or take returns. Players can wear the uniform next time they play AYSO. You can also save it for a sibling, pass on to a friend, try to sell it on a marketplace site, or donate it.
What if My Player's Uniform Doesn't Arrive in Time?
Have them wear comfy/sporty clothes to their session until the uniform arrives. No worries!
What if My Player Gives Me a Hard Time and Won't Wear the Uniform One Day?
That's OK.
What if It is Cold?
Wear sporty pants instead of the shorts, add a layer under the jersey, wear a jacket over it if need be. Please use layering on top though, so if your player gets hot, they can remove a layer.
