Chino Hills AYSO Region 779 – Registration Information
Thank you for choosing Chino Hills AYSO Region 779, where we are dedicated to providing a world-class youth soccer program that enriches children's lives through fun, fair play, and community involvement. We’re excited to have your family join our soccer community. Please carefully review all the registration information on this page before registering.
How to Register Your Player(s)
If you are new to our program, click on the REGISTER NOW button at the top right of the screen on the home page; all returning players can click LOGIN.
When creating an account, you must enter your parent information first, then the participant information (the player you want to register to play soccer). Please carefully check all the information you enter for errors before submitting and moving on to the e-Signature portion of the registration form; these errors are difficult to fix.
All players registering for Chino Hills AYSO Region 779 must show proof of date of birth. You can upload this to your registration account.
If this is not your player's first time registering for our program, your player’s birth certificate should be saved in the system.
If this is your player's first time registering for our program, you must click on the blue box by the child's name and upload a photo to the birth certificate icon. This is a requirement for ALL players from the National AYSO level.
If there are no openings in the age division you are registering for, please continue on with waitlist registration. A waitlist may start for an age division before the end of our registration period. If you sign up near the end of registration, your child may be moved to the waitlist due to coaching needs. You must advance through ALL the screens, even the payment screen. You will receive an email receipt showing that waitlist registration is complete. If added from the list, you will receive an email prompting you to log in and make the registration payment. If you do not reply to the email within 3 days, the next person down the list will be asked about team placement.
You will be prompted to pay online using a credit or debit card. No other forms of payment are accepted. ONCE PAYMENT IS MADE, THE $25 ANNUAL NATIONAL PLAYER MEMBERSHIP FEE, AS WELL AS THE $2.75 TRANSACTION FEE, ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Please see our full player withdrawal and refund policy below.
At this time, no in-person registrations are available. Registration could be completed through mobile devices, computers, and tablets. You do not need to print, mail, or submit hard copies of the registration paperwork.
We wish we could accommodate everyone's requests, but at this time, we can only place siblings in the same age group on the same teams. Practice schedule accommodations are only available to parents wishing to coach their own child’s team.

Player Withdrawal and Refund Policy
AYSO’s Annual National Player Membership
National AYSO requires every player in every region to pay an annual, non-refundable, non-transferable national player membership fee (currently $25.00), once per membership year (August 1st – July 31st). This membership must be renewed annually for each player participating in any AYSO program and is separate from Chino Hills Region 779’s program fees. The National Player Membership fee is added as a separate line item during the registration process and must be collected at the time of registration. Payment of the National Annual Player Membership Fee entitles the player to a Player ID Card, all AYSO member benefits including being able to be placed on a team, insurance coverage and the ability to register for any available player program in any AYSO Region, Area or Section for which the player is eligible without having to pay the national fee again in the same Membership Year. If your player decides to withdraw from the program, this fee cannot be refunded, per AYSO National policy.
Transaction Fee
A non-refundable transaction fee of $2.75 is applied to each transaction within the Sports Connect system. This fee is per transaction, not per registration. If you have multiple children in one household, you can register them and check out in one transaction. This fee is added as a separate line item during the registration process and must be collected at the time of registration. If your player decides to withdraw from the program, this fee cannot be refunded, per AYSO National policy.
Refund Deadline – Fall Season
Refund requests for the Fall season must be submitted before August 15, 2025.
If you request a refund by the deadline, Chino Hills AYSO Region 779 will refund the program fee minus the non-refundable AYSO National Player Membership Fee and the transaction fee.
No refunds will be issued for requests made after August 15, 2025.
Please Note:
Any equipment (i.e., player uniform) must be returned before a refund is issued.
In cases where a player is unable to be placed on a team by the region (i.e., not enough coaches), the player will receive a full refund, regardless of the date submitted (less the non-refundable AYSO National Player Membership Fee and the non-refundable transaction fee, per the AYSO National Office).
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please complete the Refund Request Form. Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing.
Become a Volunteer!
AYSO runs 100% on volunteers, which means the program can't happen without people like you. No experience? No problem! Just bring your enthusiasm—we'll show you the rest!
Why should you volunteer?
To Make a Positive Impact
Volunteering with AYSO means you're helping kids in your community grow through soccer. You're not just teaching them a sport—you’re teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. That influence can last a lifetime.
Be Part of a Community
AYSO is more than just soccer—it's a family. Volunteering brings you closer to your neighbors, builds friendships, and gives you a sense of belonging. It’s a team effort on and off the field.
To Learn New Skills
Whether you're coaching, refereeing, or organizing events, AYSO provides training and support so you can build new skills or sharpen existing ones. Leadership, communication, and time management are just a few examples.
Flexible Commitment
AYSO knows life gets busy. That’s why there are roles for every schedule—from one-day event helpers to full-season coaches. You can find a volunteer opportunity that fits your lifestyle.
Quality Time with Your Kids
Volunteering lets you be on the field with your child, experience their growth firsthand, and create shared memories. Kids love seeing their parents involved—it boosts their excitement and engagement!
It’s Fun!
Let’s not forget: soccer is exciting. Being involved, cheering from the sidelines, helping players succeed—it’s energizing and joyful. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, and you’ll love it.
How to Sign Up to Volunteer
New users: Click on the REGISTER NOW button to create an account.
Returning users: Click LOGIN to access your existing account.
Indicate the position you're interested in (e.g., coach, referee, team parent). Complete the e-Signature portion of the form.
Once You Sign Up to Volunteer
You'll receive a confirmation email acknowledging your volunteer application from AYSO's registration system (Sports Connect). You’ll also have access to your volunteer profile, where you can manage your role(s), view requirements, and track your progress.
As part of AYSO’s commitment to player safety, all volunteers must complete a background check (through Sterling Volunteers). You'll get a separate email with instructions on how to initiate and complete this process.
Depending on your role (Coach, Referee, Team Parent, etc.), you'll be required to complete a few online courses through AYSOU (accessed through your Sports Connect account) for the safety of all players and volunteers. Most of these are online, self-paced, and free.
Safe Haven – covers safety and child protection
CDC Concussion Awareness
Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training
Role-Specific Training (e.g., 6U Coach, Regional Referee)
Some positions, like Coach or Referee, may include in-person field training sessions. These are often short and very hands-on, giving you practical tools to confidently step into your role.
Once your training and background check are complete:
Coaches and referees will be matched with age-appropriate teams.
Division coordinators will contact team parents, field volunteers, or board members.
You’ll be added to your team’s communication system so you can collaborate with other volunteers.
Before the season starts, you’ll:
Receive your team roster and schedule.
Meet your fellow volunteers.
Attend any regional meetings or orientations (usually brief and informative).
Then… Let the Fun Begin! You’re officially part of the AYSO family, helping create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for kids in our community.
If you have questions during the process, you can always contact the appropriate board member for the position you are volunteering for (i.e., the Coach Coordinator if you are coaching), and they’ll walk you through it! You can find all the contact information for the board members on the Contact Board Members tab.
