AYSO CHINO HILLS SPRING SELECT

The Spring Select program is a secondary program that is dedicated to building fundamental soccer skills for selected players in the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 19U divisions. This is a wonderful opportunity for players and coaches alike to further develop and enhance their skills, travel, and have fun in the Spring sun.

The Spring Select program is a Coach and player selected program.  Coaches are individually selected by the Spring Committee based on their qualifications, enthusiasm, and commitment to player development.  Players are selected by invitation of the team coach. 


Coaches are required to complete a Spring Coach application by filling out the form below.

To be eligible for invitation, players must meet the following requirements:

10U-14U players, play at least 70% of the regular fall season games and a minimum of 75% of each game.
16U-19U players, play at least 50% of the regular fall season games and a minimum of 50% of each game.
Note: EXTRA players are not eligible to participate on a Spring Select team.

The purpose of the program is to allow those players that have demonstrated and have displayed an attitude for fair play, enthusiasm and cooperative team spirit, to participate on team of players who have similar qualifications.

Participation on the teams requires an increased level of commitment from both the players and parents. Players are expected to punctually attend all games and practices and display a sense of responsibility towards the coaches and their teammates. Team may participate in Spring league(area play) and tournament play. Tournaments includes Sunday play and may involve travel. Each team is self funded and parents should expect to contribute between $400-$600 per player.

It is recommended that both players and parents are involved in any team fundraising efforts. Contributions collected from fundraising efforts go directly to team and help to offset Spring team cost which is benefit to all team members.
