SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING COVID-19 CRISIS
This year, AYSO Region 69's Fall Program will most likely look different than it has in the past, due to the COVID-19 virus and state and local restrictions. Your family’s safety is most important to us. We will not know what we can offer until we receive the OK and guidelines from local officials, and are able to secure field space. Currently, none of our fields are available. This will hopefully change in July. We await state and local clearance.
We wanted to outline the following potential options:
1. Fall season like past seasons, weekday practices (6U and older) and weekend
games, possibly starting Sept 8 (no game Sept 19), ending Nov 21. No
restrictions. We are able to secure all of our field space.
2. Fall season with restrictions and guidelines to follow for practices and games,
possibly team and field size reductions, temperature checks at home, hand
washing, masks and social distancing for spectators, etc. Field space will also
factor in to what we can offer.
3. Fall season with restrictions and guidelines for practices only due to state and
county rules not allowing teams to interact, and lack of sufficient fields.
We are asking all interested families to PRE-REGISTER this month. This will NOT require payment, as players are technically signing up for the WAIT LIST.
Once we have the green light to begin, and secure field space, with your family’s safety in mind, we will determine what we can offer, what to charge, and will send an email to you about making payment to COMPLETE REGISTRATION, which is removal from the WAIT LIST.
At that time, we will open the VOLUNTEER Registration for COACHES, REFEREES, and TEAM MANAGERS.

Region 69's Usual message regarding OUR PROGRAMS
We have developed our soccer programs to be age-appropriate and developmentally challenging based on our Six Philosophies, which are the essence of AYSO’s Mission and Vision and guide all that we do.
- Everyone Plays
- Balanced Teams
- Open Registration
- Positive Coaching
- Good Sportsmanship
- Player Development
CORE PROGRAM (Ages 6-18)
Core is another name for AYSO's standard program. Our grassroots Core program is the foundation for all the fun, excitement and learning that happens on the fields in the FALL. This is where the large majority of our players start and fall in love with soccer and make memories that will last a lifetime. The above mentioned 6 philosophies are the essence of our core program, and all of our other programs and it all starts with Everyone Plays. This means that no player spends their soccer experience sitting on the bench, they play at least 3 quarters of every game. Registration is opened to any player in the core program regardless of ability, as long as there is space. Teams are put together by gender and age, see AGE DIVISIONS, and are balanced in a way that makes playing soccer about the experience, not wins or losses. It’s not about blowing out another team with an unbelievable score; it’s about sportsmanship and learning to be the best possible teammate and opponent. Developing players is what we’re about because soccer skills and life skills go hand in hand. We want to get players on the field, provide them with good positive coaches, and teach them to play soccer.
