Spring Open Season 2022

Dear AYSO 779 Families,
We are pleased to announce that registration for AYSO Spring Open Season has begun! Registration is open for the following divisions: U5/6, B8, B10, B12, G8, G10, G12 and U14 (co-ed). The season will tentatively start on January 25 and end April 2, 2022. Practices will be held once a week on Tuesday evenings at Grand Avenue Park. Goalie training will also be provided. Games will be held Saturdays at Grand Avenue Park or Canyon Hills Jr. High School. All games are "friendlies" with a focus on sportsmanship and player development.
Registration is $65 for players returning from the 2021 Fall Season. For those that did not play in the Fall, Registration will be $85 (the additional $20 AYSO National Player Fee will be assessed at the time of registration).
For the Spring Open Season only, we will accommodate player and coach requests in all divisions. You can ask to play with a specific player or coach. Please make all requests at the time of registration. Please register as soon as possible. We ask everyone to register no later than January 14th for team distribution and uniform orders. Registrations after January 14th may be placed on a waitlist.
We are also looking for volunteer coaches. Coaches who have coached or assisted in the fall are welcome to come back. We also welcome new coaches and provide training.
All teams will be providing their own referees. Parents may be asked to referee to support their child. We will provide training for new referees. Even though these are developmental and non-competitive games, it cannot be played without referees.
