Our Service Area & Towns
Region 1312 covers much of northwestern Yolo County, along the Capay Valley corridor. Below are the principal communities we serve:
Esparto, CA — central hub for many of our fields and games
Capay, CA — just west of Esparto, in the heart of Capay Valley
Guinda, CA — further northwest along the valley
Rumsey, CA — on the western edge of the valley
Brooks, CA — part of the valley region and in Yolo County’s northwest
Madison, CA — a smaller locality at a crossroads within the valley region
Together, these communities form the heart of Capay Valley, spanning from Esparto in the east out toward Rumsey in the west along Highway 16.
Our Story & Mission
Beginning with a handful of teams in 2008, Capay Valley AYSO was established to bring accessible, community-based soccer to local youth. Over the years, we’ve built a volunteer-powered organization rooted in family values and local pride.
In its first season, the region launched just a few small teams. With the dedication of local families and coaches, the program steadily grew each year, adding more age divisions, certified referees, and volunteer-run events that keep the spirit of community alive.
Today, we’re proud to remain a volunteer-powered league where parents, grandparents, teens, and neighbors pitch in as coaches, referees, field crews, and team supporters. This community spirit is what makes Region 1312 feel like family.
We believe in creating a safe, positive, and fun environment for kids of all ages. whether they’re just learning or striving to grow their skills. We combine the close-knit atmosphere of a rural league with the structure and support of AYSO’s national network.
Our mission has always been to make soccer fun, affordable, and accessible to every child in the Capay Valley. We focus on building skills, confidence, and teamwork while encouraging good sportsmanship on and off the field.
By combining the heart of a small-town league with the trusted support of AYSO’s national network, we ensure that every player, whether brand-new or experienced, feels welcome and included.
Looking Ahead
As our valley continues to grow, so does our region. We’re excited to keep expanding programs, training more volunteers, and offering opportunities for youth to thrive both as players and as leaders through coaching and refereeing.
