Our AYSO Area, which includes Antelope, Capay, Colusa County, Davis, Rio Linda and Winters, is one of the first locations in the United States to offer the AYSO Alliance Program. It represents the most competitive AYSO program in our community. It will field teams that are competitive with many teams fielded by other local clubs. These teams will generally compete at the Bronze or Silver levels. It does not seek to field teams that compete at a national level. It is a community-based program with players who mostly live in or close to our communities.
The AYSO Alliance program is special for the following reasons:
• Club bylaws require that “Everyone Plays” (50%+) every game.
• Teams are made up mostly of classmates and neighbors
• Teams play home games and practice on local fields.
• Teams depend on volunteers, creating a special team community that extends beyond the field.
• A Director of Coaching will support certified, high quality, volunteer coaches.
• Club and coaches recognize “whole person development” includes other equally important extracurricular activities.
• Club expects players and families to give back to the larger AYSO program and community as volunteers.
