6U & 8U (Non-competitive Divisions)

Teams for 6U and 8U (children 7 and under) are chosen based on years of experience, size, and team requests given during registration. We do our best but there are many unknowns at this age and we hope that everyone is just out there to have a good time. Score is not kept to minimize the competitiveness at this age. When teams are unbalanced on the day of the game, coaches can choose to mix all of the kids on their teams and create a scrimmage of mixed teams.

10U-12U (Competitive Divisions)

10U and 12U begin our competitive divisions. This means players are playing against other teams in our region, area, section and possibly even National! Because of this we are careful to incorporate AYSO's core philosophy of Balanced Teams. We do this by evaluating all players before the season begins. We use this to give each player a score that we enter into AYSO's software. The software then uses the players age, experience, and evaluation score to assign them to a team. Because of this procedure, we do not take any team requests for 10U-12U. Siblings will always be together and Coaches will always be with their own children.

14U-19U (Intermediate and Advanced)

Our Intermediate (14U) and Advanced Divisions (16U-19U) teams are selected in a very similar process to the above for 10U-12U. However, due to the smaller number of teams, if all coaches and the board agrees, players may be chosen on a draft basis. In this case, the coaches, Regional Commissioner and the Coach Admin will get together and using the players evaluation scores and experience will select players for each team. The Regional Commissioner and Coach Admin will ensure that each team has a balanced score at the end of the draft. Once teams are chosen, no movement will be made between teams.
