All of our AYSO athletes must wear a uniform and shinguards on match day. The uniform includes a jersey, shorts and socks. Shin guards are purchased separately:

• U5, the uniform is a T-shirt, which is provided to you
• U6 - U10, the uniform is 1 red/blue reversible jersey, blue shorts, blue socks (approx price $31)
• U12 and older, the uniform consists of a 1 red and 1 white jersey (2 jerseys with black stripes), black shorts, black socks (approx price $40)

Shinguards are worn underneath the socks.  Cleats are not a mandatory part of the uniform, but they are encouraged.

What do I need to know about the uniforms? 

1. All players must wear the appropriate uniform for their division in terms of shirts and shorts on game day. Shin Guards are also required.
2. Mt. Pleasant AYSO does NOT directly supply shirts/shorts for your child as part of the registration fee (except U5 Pre-K where a T-shirt is provided in lieu of a uniform)
3. Instead, uniforms are available for purchase at Mt. Kisco Sports, so you take care of this YOURSELF.

• You can try on a uniform at the store or you can simply send an e-mail to [email protected] with each player’s name, their size, and the type of uniform kit (blue/red reversible kit or the two jersey kit) you will need.
• You will also pay for the uniform when you pick it up at Mt. Kisco Sports

When do I need to purchase a uniform (or a uniform part)?
Generally, only if you need to.

More specifically, if your child:

• Did not play in the program last year (new players)
• Outgrew the uniform shirt or shorts, or needs a new pair of socks, or any/all parts of the uniform kit
• Is moving up from the U5 division to the U6 division (from t-shirt to uniform)
• Is moving up from the U10 to the U12 division (from basic to two-jersey package)

 
Otherwise, if your child's uniform still fits, and their division does not require a uniform change, you are all set for the year.
