Please spread the word and get your friends to come. Any motivated player born between 2005 and 2009 can tryout (no AYSO experience necessary). This is a high level of soccer so ability and desire are important. EXTRA is a high-level soccer experience for the more committed athletes looking for a more competitive level of play. The season will run from late August 2018 through May 2019. We are dedicated to making EXTRA a program that is both family friendly and community based while delivering very high quality soccer. What does our EXTRA Program stand for? Improving the skill, confidence, and passion of each and every individual player. Relentlessly teaching the difficult and critical fundamental skills necessary to become a strong soccer player, and the athletic skills necessary for success in any sport. Playing time for all - every player plays 3/4 of each game Balance - We encourage and support playing other sports and having a healthy family life. We strongly encourage you to be at both tryout days. If you have a major conflict and cannot attend both days, you must contact Craig Forsyth ([email protected])

Updated FAQ: We have a conflict on one of the tryout days, can we still make the team? Yes, but it is always better to be there for both days. If there is a close call between one player and another, the committee is more confident choosing kids we know more about. Can my 2010 child tryout? Absolutely! If they are confident in their skills and excited to compete please bring them to tryouts. It is always good experience for them but we don’t often take the younger kids on the team unless they really stand out and show great maturity for their age. What about teams for older kids (2006, 2005, 2004)? We could support teams at this age groups but traditionally it is very hard for us to put a teams together for these age groups. We are not having tryouts for the older kids, but if you can pull together a bunch of solid players and good kids we would consider trying to put a team together…it just takes a lot of work to get 15 players together.
