WE ARE MOVING THE TRYOUTS TOMORROW TO THE SOCCER FIELDS AT THE VA
Due to a few circumstances (including Paul Revere being a mud bowl today!), we are moving all of the all-star tryouts to the big field (12U) at the VA. Sorry for the late notice, but it will make for much better soccer as those who had to play at Paul Revere will attest.
So the updated info is as follows:
Tryouts will be held on Sunday November 17th at the 12U field (the one farther from the parking lot) at the VA.
Players are strongly encouraged to attend both tryout days, as the candidates will be assessed in different ways on each of those days. Players are required at attend at least one tryout.
This year, we require each player attending the tryouts to be registered online prior to the event. (Please see the instructions to register for tryouts, listed below the schedule).
All Star tryouts are open to anyone who is currently playing in the Region 69 AYSO Fall league. It is not just for the super strong players only, but is a program for passionate players who want to further develop skills, interest, and have fun playing soccer.
Each year we field about three or four 10U All Star teams (two girls and two boys) and one or two 12U and 14U teams. We try to accommodate all interested players, but that is up to YOU; we can only field teams if we have enough coaches, managers, referees, and other volunteers to make the teams work.
Teams practice twice a week and play one or more tournaments per month from January/February through early June. Tournament Teams typically carry larger rosters to allow players and families opportunities to still pursue other interests or sports.
The number of teams we field depends on the number of interested and qualified players, coaches, referees, and other volunteers.

Tryout Schedule at the VA SOCCER FIELDS:
Sunday November 17th at VA (same schedule as November 3rd)
Girls 10U (2010 & 2011) 12:00 – 1:30pm
Boys 10U (2010 & 2011) 1:30 - 3:00pm
Girls 12U (2008 & 2009) 3:00 - 4:30pm
Boys 12U (2008 & 2009) 3:00 – 4:30pm
Remember that this year, we require each player attending the tryouts to be registered online prior to the event.

• Go to My Account
• Click the Green Button beside Player Name "2 programs available"
• Under the 2019 Allstar/Tournament Team Program see Division and click SELECT
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Continue
• Proceed through the pages until e-signed (this may take a few pages, keep going until the end!)
• Proceed through to Checkout and Checkout. Your child is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from Region 69.
Items to Bring to Check In
(1) The printout of the completed online All-Star registration in ayso69.org (see above)
(3) Two checks made out to “AYSO Region 69”. One for $350 and one for $550. We need two checks, not one.
(4) A copy of your childs passport or birth certificate. Copies please for us to keep, not originals that you will take back.
