Coach Training Directions for AYSO Menifee
In order to volunteer as a coach or assistant coach you must meet the minimum requirements according to AYSO. Please see the following matrix to determine which courses you must complete in order to coach a specific age group. Then follow the directions below if you need to complete training.

*Denotes an in-person classroom session is required, usually 2-3 hours. And online prerequisite is required prior to in-person session.

Online Training & Training Sign up
1. Go to AYSOU Learning Portal: Log into your account, click on the "Volunteer" tab, then click on the "aysou" link.
2. Taking Courses:
a. Online
i. Safe Haven, Concussion, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Classes - Click on Online Courses to take or sign up for online classes.
ii. Coach Certification Classes - Click on Online Courses to take an online course, or any prerequisites required prior to In-Person training.
or
b. Training Event - Search for In-Person Courses if you prefer to take the course in-person. Be aware, some courses require online prerequisites and may be both online and live. Usually the instructor will be in contact if online prerequisites are required.
3. Click on Open, and take the needed courses as shown in the above matrix. You can take most classes (all but 12U & up) online for free.
