FALL REGISTRATION DATES


FALL 2022 SOCCER REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
 

Fall season games will begin in September. Practice may begin early August if team rosters are complete. 

Any parent volunteers interested in coaching this fall please sign up as a coach in your child’s division. We will form as many teams as possible based on the number of certified coaches willing to lead a team.

SPRING REGISTRATION DATES



**SPRING 2023 REGISTRATION IS CLOSED**


The intent of the Spring Select program is to provide an ongoing soccer experience for those players with average to above-average soccer skills. Not all players desiring to play will be chosen. This is a select program and the number of players chosen in each division will depend on the amount of qualified coaches willing to coach in the spring, as well as field availability. The program is available for players from the 5U through 16U divisions. The 6U- 8U programs is a regional program, and the 10U – 16U programs are run by the area. The Spring Select program does not use funds from the fall program; therefore, there is a charge to participating players.

All players who participated in the Fall Season program playing in at least 50% of the games and exhibiting a positive AYSO attitude are eligible to submit an application for the Spring Select program. For a player to be a mandatory pick the parent must have been a registered volunteer during the Fall Season as a Coach, Referee or Board Member. A Referee’s child will only be a mandatory pick if he or she refereed a minimum number of 5 games. In addition the referee must be willing to referee during the Spring Select season. All prospective coaches must have age appropriate certification.

Play Up Guidelines

Region 1422 assigns players to divisions based on their date of birth. In extraordinary circumstances, the Region may allow a player to Play Up a division. Requests for a player to Play Up to the next division will be considered on an individual basis. Play Up requests will NOT be considered after June 30th.

General Guidelines:
  • Requests to Play Up must be approved in writing by the Regional Commissioner.
  • Region 1422 will not automatically recognize Play Ups granted by other AYSO Regions.
  • Play Up requests will only be considered if space is available in the higher division.
  • A Player may not switch age divisions between the Fall and Spring Seasons.
  • Play Up requests will not be granted for 5U or 6U players. (e.g. play up to 6U or 8U)
  • Play Down requests will NOT be considered at any age level.
8U-14U Play Up Requests must meet the following criteria:
  • Player misses the cutoff date for the next age division by no more than 2 months.
16U-19U Play Up Requests must meet the following criteria:
  • Player misses the cutoff date for the next age division by no more than 2 months or 14U player will be enrolled in High School during the Fall Season.

Play Down Requests

We apologize, but AYSO National Guidelines DO NOT permit players to 'Play Down' into a younger division. Players are assigned to divisions based on their date of birth.

REFUND POLICY

Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes, between registration and the start of play, scheduling conflicts come up, a child changes his mind, or situations change (maybe you moved). 
 
Our refund policy is as follows: 
SPRING SEASON REFUNDS AND DEADLINES:
On or Before January 18th: FULL REFUND 
January 19th - March 9th $45.00 non-refundable fee will be applied to all refunds.

FALL SEASON REFUNDS AND DEADLINES:
On or Before July 15th: FULL REFUND 
July 16th – August 20: $25.00 non-refundable fee will be applied to all refunds. 
After August 20th: $45.00 non-refundable fee will be applied to all refunds. 

Please email the [email protected] ASAP, to notify the Region of your player’s desire to drop. Emailing the Region does not constitute a Request for Refund - it is merely a courtesy to the Region, Coaches, and other players on the wait list.

Please email the player withdrawal form to the registrar at [email protected].

Refunds are normally processed within 4 to 6 weeks.  Refund requests are subject to review by the Regional Commissioner, Registrar and Treasurer before being approved.

Please Note:

  • Once a player has participated in practices or games, a refund will not be issued.
  • Any equipment (i.e. player uniform) must be returned prior to being issued a refund.
  • In cases where a Player is unable to be placed on a team by the Region (i.e. not enough coaches) the player will receive a full refund – regardless of date submitted. (less AYSO National Player Membership Fee)
  • The AYSO National Player Membership Fee is non-refundable – per the AYSO National Office.
  •  No refunds will be given without a properly completed Player Withdrawal form.
