Rivertowns AYSO (Region 324 New York)

FIELD INSTRUCTIONS

Rivertowns teams use of the school fields is secondary to school teams. During the spring season, the soccer goals do not reside on the pitch on many fields, because the school teams use the fields for lacrosse or for flag football.

General instructions
>> You will have to move the soccer goals onto the field for games and trainings. Move the sandbags as well and properly anchor the goals.
>> Teams with the final training session or final match of the day will have to move the soccer goals/sandbags back off the pitch, and put the lax goals back, if applicable.
>> How do you find out if you are the last training of the day? Look at our internal master field schedule.
>> How do you find out if you are the last game of the day? Links each pitch's game schedules are below. In some cases, pitches are shared by WYSL teams, EDP teams, and AYSO teams.

Rules of thumb
>> Communicate with the coaches of the team following your training/game to make sure they know the drill.
>> If a scheduled team doesn't show up for training and your training is over, move the soccer goals back off the pitch and/or put the lax goals back in place -- whatever applies for that pitch.
>> If you have a Saturday game and it looks like rain Sunday, move the soccer goals off the pitch and/or put the lax goals back in place -- whatever applies for that pitch.

Following the instructions for each field will keep us in good standing with the schools, who generously allow us use of the fields.

Thank you for your cooperation!
