Becoming a RefereeAll Referees and Referee Candidates: You must re-apply each year to be a volunteer at
Volunteer Application Youth volunteers must re-apply as well.Y ou must be a registered volunteer to get credit for taking training and certification classes.
ALL referees must take the CDC Heads Up Online Training Course, and the Safe Haven Course, at least once. [If you are not also coaching, and you took the class last year, you do not need to retake these classes.The course is now available on the
AYSO training website. You will need your AYSO ID number to log in(which you will see on your volunteer application, and which will be e-mailed to you upon successful completion of your volunteer application). You should print out a copy of the certificate you receive upon completion of the course and save it in case there are any problems with the website.
