Spring 2023 Season Registration is now open!
All registrations must be online through our website at www.ayso397.org. Just click on the "Register Now" button at the top of the page to start. If you have a username from a previous year, please do not make a new account. If you do not remember your account username or password, you can contact us at [email protected] to help reset your password or help you remember your username. We will only provide those details to the email account listed in our system for a particular user. Your account is valuable during the season as your coach will be able to communicate with you through that account.
Player fees for the 2022/23 spring season are:
10U through 14U $87.75, $67.75 if you played in fall ($65 region fee plus $22.75 non-refundable national fee)
6U and 8U $77.75, $57.75 if you played in fall ($55 region fee plus $22.75 non-refundable national fee)
For spring season 14U may be coed
2022/23 Age divisions are by year of birth and are as follows:
Playground - 2019
6U - 2017 & 2018
8U - 2015 & 2016
10U - 2013 & 2014
12U - 2011 & 2012
14U - 2009 & 2010
16U- 2007 to 2008
19U - 2004 to 2006
VIP - any of the above age groups
Spring Season
Spring season is our second season of the soccer year. Our soccer year is from August 1 to July 31.
Season Information
- Spring season starts approximately March and runs through May
- Registration for spring will start roughly 2-3 months before
Soccer Practice
- Practices are held Monday through Friday
- Coaches pick the practice days and times when they receive their teams
Soccer Games
- Most games are played during the week
- Games are not rescheduled due to rain-out or lack of players
- Game length:
-- 6U games are 20 minutes - two 10-minute halves
-- 8U games are 40 minutes - two 20-minute halves
-- 10U games are 50 minutes - two 25-minute halves
-- 12U games are 60 minutes - two 30-minute halves
-- 14U games are 70 minutes - two 35-minute halves
-- 16U games are 80 minutes - two 40-minute halves
-- 19U games are 90 minutes - two 45-minute halves
- Half time is usually 5-10 minutes
Players Per Team
- 6U-8U have 4 players per side
- 10U has 7 players per side
- 12U has 9 players per side
- 14U-19U have 11 players per side
Uniforms
- Uniforms are included in registration fee.
- All players must wear shin guards in order to play
- Shin guards must be worn inside the sock and cannot be exposed
- Only soccer cleats or tennis shoes can be worn
- Baseball or football cleats are forbidden
Soccer Ball Size
- 5U-8U uses a Size 3 ball (23.0-25.0 inch circumference, 10-12 ounces)
- 10U/12U uses a Size 4 ball (25.0-26.5 inch circumference, 12-14 ounces)
- 14U-19U uses a Size 5 ball (26.5-28.0 inch circumference, 14-16 ounces)
Per National policy, the only team member(s) a head coach may specify be on his/her team is his/her own child or children, therefore players who have a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian who is willing to coach in that specific division will be given priority to be placed on a team.

Refund policy:
Once a player has been placed onto a team, there are no refunds of registration fees.
Once a player has registered, there are no refunds of the $20 AYSO National Membership Fee and the $3 transaction fee.
