U10 / U12 ALL STAR Try-outs

All-stars is a program that offers organized soccer for selected players who want to play at a more competitive level. All-stars gives athletes whose interests and abilities lead them to a more progressive soccer experience.
You can feel secure knowing your child is part of a trusted organization and will be given fair playing time. The All-star team is selected through a try-out system where we pull the top players based upon evaluation from the CORE players that show up to the tryout, but AYSO’s core philosophies are still in place: everyone selected for the team plays at least 50 percent of each game; selection to teams is based on open and fair evaluations; and the teams are chosen to create a competitive balance.

Allstar players participate in games after the CORE program season has concluded and can participate in, tournaments, National Games, and travel teams. Players playing only on an Allstar team are eligible for tournament play. The Allstars are eligible to participate in 3 post-season tournaments:
   ElCajon Turkey Cup Tournament (Thanksgiving weekend - November 24th, 25th) OPTIONAL
           Lakeside New Years Round-up (New Years weekend - December 29th, 30th)
           Area 11S All-Star Tournament (January 12th-13th and January 19th)
