AYSO Region 55 Coaches

Thank you so much for being willing to volunteer your time to be a coach in AYSO Region 55. Our goal is to give you everything you need to have a positive experience. We hope the information below gives you a clear understanding of the process of becoming a coach. If there is ever anything that we can help you with please let us know.

Who can coach?

The most important quality we look for is people who get “it”. What is “it”? AYSO’s Six Philosophies: Everyone Plays®, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development. And most importantly, understanding that the example we set as coaches is not about a win at all costs attitude but rather creating a positive experience for children that will build friendships, create memories and develop character that translates on and off a soccer field.
