Section 1 Roadshow is January 6-8 at Arcadia High School (180 Campus Drive, Arcadia, CA).  All levels of referee courses will be offered, including Regional (Basic), Intermediate, Advanced and National training; as well as Referee Instructor and Assessor classes.  Information on the courses and registration can be found at https://bsbproduction.s3.amazonaws.com/portals/14057/docs/2017/pdf/arcadia_2017_referee_flyer.pdf.

 

Area 11L (South Orange County) is having another of their popular and well-taught training weekends on January 27-29 at Laguna Hills High School (25401 Paseo de Valencia, Laguna Hills CA).  They are teaching Regional (Basic), Intermediate, Advanced and National Referee courses, and a Referee Instructor class.  If you are interested, go to https://ayso11l.wufoo.com/forms/referee-training-registration-january-2729-2017/ to register.

 

The Ken Aston Referee Camp will be held the weekend of June 23-25 at Chapman University in the city of Orange, CA.  They will be teaching Intermediate, Advanced and National Referee courses, and a full suite of Referee Instructor and Referee Assessor classes.  Ken Aston Referee Camp affords attendees an opportunity to immerse themselves in a supportive, fun and educational referee environment, bond with dozens of other referees, and hear from internationally renowned and experienced referees.  Information and registration can be found at www.kenastoncamps.org

 

Area 1D will be conducting Intermediate Referee and Advanced Referee training courses in the coming months.

 

Intermediate Referee training, hosted by Region 21 (Hawthorne), on March 18th (8:00am-6:00pm, location TBD)

 

Advanced Referee training in late-March (6:15-9:30pm over four nights), with the location likely to be in Manhattan Beach

Each of these programs offer an excellent and efficient way for you to upgrade your skills (and badge levels), as well as take on new and challenging opportunities, such as instruction and assessment

How To Take An Online Course on EtrainU

1) Go to https://www.ayso21.org/region21

2) Click Login if you have signed up before or Register Now if you are new to AYSO. During registration choose "I am a team coach or other team personnel" if you are signing up to just volunteer and don't have your child registered to play in this season.

3) You should be taken to your My Account page with a VOLUNTEER menu option on the left side

4) Click on the VOLUNTEER tab showing your volunteer roles and a button a "AYSOU" on the far right

5) Clicking the "AYSOU" button should automatically log you into the AYSO EtrainU website

6) Click on Training Library on the right side Navigation Bar which will take you to available online training material.

7) Click Training Event to find in-person training sessions
