REGISTRATION FOR SPRING SEASON 2024
2024 SPRING SEASON
AYSO Region 652 Registration will be open from October 22, 2023 thru January 14,2024; the season will run from February 5th - May 27th ending with the Memorial Bowl. To complete your player or volunteer application, please follow these instructions: There are 2 separates steps to completing registration for each player
I. On-Line registration
a. Visit https://ayso.bluesombrero.com to complete On-Line registration, e-signature, make payment, and print form/s. (registration & concussion forms). Print a copy of the application and drop-off one of on any of the dates listed below.
b. Birth certificate verification on In-person registration dates
II. In-Person registration
a. Provide proof of payment (e-mail confirmation or printout)
b. Provide proof of birth (birth certificate, passport, immunization card, or school id with DOB for verification purposes ONLY)
c. Bring player to try on jersey to obtain size

Inscripciones para la Temporada de Otono 2023
Las inscripciones para la temporada de estan abiertas a partir del 22 de Octubre del 2023. La temporada empieza en Febrero 5, 2024 y termina Mayo 27,2024 del para la region 652 South Gate de AYSO. Para registrar a un jugador/a o voluntario require completar la inscripcion por interenet.
I. Inscripción en-línea
a. Visite https://ayso.bluesombrero.com para completar la inscripción en-línea, la firma electrónica, realizar el pago e imprima los formularios de la inscripción y conmoción cerebral.
II. Inscripción en-persona
a. Proporcionar (1 copia para los que regresan y 2 copias para los nuevos jugadores) de los formularios de la inscripción.
b. Proporcionar comprobante de su pago (confirmación de correo electrónico o recibo imprimido)
c. Proporcionar comprobante de fecha de nacimiento (acta, pasaporte, tarjeta de vacunas, identificación escolar con fecha de nacimiento).
d. Jugador necesita estar presente para medirse la playera y obtener la talla (solo los jugadores nuevos; no hay excepciones).

Online Registration Instructions
Please read all instructions below to learn how to register your son or daughter. The system will automatically place your child in the correct division based on birth date.
Steps to complete online registration:
1. Click on Register in the top right hand corner of the site.
2. Fill out the Create New Account section on the Login screen. Then click on Create Account.
3. Fill out the Primary Parent/Guardian Information section. If you wish to add a Secondary Parent/Guardian’s email (to be cc’d on all Program related emails), enter their information in the Secondary Parent/Guardian Information section and click “Create Secondary Account User & Continue”. If not, leave the area blank and click Submit.
4. Fill out the Add a New Participant section. Make sure your son or daughter's birth date is set correctly or it might not fall within the division parameters the club's Administrator has set. Click on Continue.
5. Once you have filled in the player information and click on Continue, the system automatically places your player in the correct division.
6. Click on Register. Then Continue. Any Discount will be deducted at the payment screen.
7. Fill out all Additional Participant Information. Click on Continue. Make sure you click on both Waiver Boxes.
8. You will be asked to e-sign the form. Click to e-sign.
9. Follow the signature instructions for the e-signature on the player form.
10. The last screen is the Checkout screen. Review your Registration Summary, select your Payment Type, select your Payment Option (Pay in Full), enter in Address and Payment Information, read and agree to the Terms & Conditions, and then select Submit Order. Please note that $22.75 ($2.75 Processing fee) includes a non-refundable AYSO National fee of $20.00.
11. You just completed the online registration process!
Registration Fees & Dates:
Multi-player Discount - a player discount of $20 will be given for the 3rd or more players per family but payment for all players, must be paid in "one" (1) payment transaction for the system to process the discount. Any Player application after July 12, 2023 will be wait-listed and is subject to the availability of player space in that division.
Team Formation – Teams will be formed late July early August. Once teams have been formed, you will be contacted by your players coach with additional information.
Parent Meeting – A Parents Meeting will be held in late July or early August before the season starts to provide additional information about our program and review our objectives and expectations for the upcoming season.
Volunteering:
Parents, we need your help to make this program successful. AYSO is an all-volunteer organization. We need your time to help manage and support the teams, games, fields and each division. If you haven’t already found a way to get involved, please think about helping the players, coaches and referees by volunteering. All parents are required to complete a minimum of 10 hours or volunteer time.
While all Volunteer positions are important, we are in particular need of Referees. If you are interested in becoming a Coach or Assistant Coach, please be aware that you must also attend "age appropriate" coach training classes to become certified. Once we have determined our training schedules for these positions, we will announce those classes via email and on the website.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Request a Specific Coach or Teammates?
AYSO mandates Balanced Teams. For and above, teams are formed through a selection process. For U6-16U the Division Managers consider each player’s school when forming teams, so that your player is likely to be placed on a team with schoolmates. Volunteering yourself as a Coach will give you some consideration in any team formation.

What’s next?
Teams will be formed late July early August. You will hear from your player’s coach in August.
