Region 652 AYSO’s EXTRA (Travel) Program FAQ

2025-2026 Season

What is “EXTRA”? 

AYSO EXTRA is a travel soccer program providing progressive player development, designed for players who have the interest, skills and abilities and want to enhance their experience and individual growth through soccer while retaining the spirit of and organization membership in AYSO. AYSO’s EXTRA program is for 10U and 12U players. EXTRA teams participate in playoffs at the end of the spring. 

Roster spots are limited and therefore Region 652 holds tryouts to select team members. Players who make the team are expected to attend EVERY practice and EVERY game. A full commitment is required, and players and parents must sign a commitment letter. If a player cannot fulfill the EXTRA commitment he/she will be asked to leave the program.
