EPIC Program - for players with with special needs
Core Program
Teams are formed in early February. With the exception of the 4U and 5U divisions, the number of teams in each division will based on the number of parents who are willing to become "Registered Volunteers" (includes background checks) to Coach and Referee.
This cannot be emphasized enough. Please give some consideration into making a difference in the lives of the children in our community.
For our Spring 2025 Core Program we will be offering the following divisions:4U – Your child was born during 20215U – Your child was born during 2020These two divisions are a Soccer Jamboree program. There are fun games geared to teach your child basic soccer skills and at the end of the session they get to have a scrimmage. You will get to participate with your child in what will be a fun time for you and your child. There are no practices during the week. The program is run Saturday mornings at Rio Norte Junior High.
The season is expected to begin March 1st and end in mid April (exact dates subject to change).
6U Boys and 6U Girls - Your child was born during 2019Your child will be playing on a team in a non-competitive division. The teams will practice once a week at a time and a location determined by their coach who will be a parent like you. Games will be on Saturdays at Rio Norte or Arroyo Seco Junior High School. Games will be scheduled to begin in the mornings and may continue into the early afternoon depending on the number of teams and field space.
Practices should begin mid-February with games March 1st through mid April (exact dates subject to change).
7U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 20188U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2017Your child will continue playing on a team in a non-competitive either 7U or a 8U division depending on the year they were born. These teams will also practice once a week at a time and a location determined by their coach who will be a parent like you. Games will be on Saturdays at Rio Norte or Arroyo Seco Junior High School. Games will be scheduled to begin in the mornings and may continue into the afternoons depending on the number of teams and field space.
Practices should begin mid-February with games March 1st through mid April (exact dates subject to change).
10U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2016 or 201512U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2014 or 2013This is where the competition starts. There are normally two practices per week at a time and a location determined by their coach who will be a parent like you. Games will also be at Rio Norte or Arroyo Seco Junior High throughout your Saturday. There is no post season play in spring.
Practices should begin mid-February with games March 1st through mid April (exact dates subject to change).
14U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2012 or 2011
This division will be offered dependent on the number of players registered and the availability of certified coaches.
There are normally two practices per week at a time and location determined by the coach, who will be a parent like you.Games will be at Arroyo Seco Jr High on Saturdays during the spring season. There is no post season play in spring.
Practices should begin mid-February with games March 1st through mid April (exact dates subject to change).
