Step by step instructions:
AYSO Region 797 is utilizing electronic signature (e-signature) for processing all of our players and volunteers and computers are set up at the walk-in registrations to help those without computer access for volunteer and player registration on-line. If you are signing up on your own, please sign up as a volunteer.
REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST RE-APPLY AS A VOLUNTEER EACH AND EVERY YEAR FOR AYSO. YOUR APPLICATION IS REVIEWED EVERY YEAR FOR SAFE HAVEN BACKGROUND CHECKS. (Returning Volunteer applications only take 5 minutes to verify your information and answer the key question)
YOUTH VOLUNTEERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 HAVE A DIFFERENT FORM THAN ADULTS, BUT MUST FILE THE ADULT FORM WHEN THE YOUTH TURNS 18 (they stop being a youth volunteer on their 18th birthday and must re-file as an adult to continue volunteering)
New Volunteer- You are classified as a New Volunteer if you did not register in the prior years.
Continuing Volunteer- You are classified as a continuing volunteer if you had volunteered in previous years.
Once you are a 'Registered Volunteer' you can go get your AYSO ID Number to do your training.
We will close the evening out with a quick knowledge review and you will be a newly minted Regional Referee.... and be ready to take on the U8/U10 games with mentor support.
