REGISTRATION INFO FOR Fall 2024

Age Calculation
A Player's Division for AYSO is determined by their Year of Birth.  Please see the Age Chart for details.  Players participate in the same Division in the Spring that they we in during the previous Fall. 

Players for Fall 2024 are those born 2006-2020.

Registration Fees
Participants must pay an AYSO Membership Fee ($25 for MY24), local Region 18 Registration Fee (varies), and Sports Connect Service Fee (per order).  The total price, excluding SC Service Fee, is listed below.  

Although Registration is open through the dates shown below, divisions may reach waitlist status at any point PRIOR to 7/15 based on the number of volunteer coaches signed up - no spots are guaranteed.  After 7/15, ALL divisions will be placed on waitlist status.  If space becomes available players will be cleared from the waitlist but will be subject to the Late Registration Fee as noted if they register after 7/15.

     Early Registration (April 15th-June 15th) - $190 per participant (5/6U Divisions are $170)
               ($240 Registration Fee + $25 AYSO Membership Fee - $75 Early Bird Discount = $190 Total)
     Regular Registration (June 16th-July 15th) - $265 per participant (5/6U Divisions are $245)
               ($240 Registration Fee + $25 AYSO Membership Fee = $265 Total)
     Waitlist Registration - with Late Registration Fee (July 16th and later) - $305 per participant
               ($240 Registration Fee + $25 AYSO Membership Fee + $40 Late Fee = $305* Total)
               *Note: 5/6U, 16/19U Divisions are exempt from the Late Fee.  5/6U caps at $245 and 16/19U at $265.  

Please note that you will see the Fees separated in the system and the fees may be charged separately on your card. 

AYSO Membership Fee: The Membership Fee of $25 is charged as a separate line item and transaction.  It is a non-refundable annual fee that goes directly to AYSO National.  It covers the upcoming Membership Year (MY24 is July 2024-June 2025).  If your child plays again in the Spring, they will not need to pay the membership fee again for that season. 

Region 18 Registration Fee (Division Price): This is the fee paid direction to our local Region to cover fields, uniforms, equipment, and other costs.  This fee is conditionally refundable, based on the timeline detailed below.

Sports Connect Service Fee: There is a $2.75 per transaction fee that will be applied at the end of the order.  This fee is applied per transaction (per order).  It is NOT applied per player.  If you have multiple players and register them at the same time you will only be charged one service fee.  If you have multiple players and register them at different times, in different transactions, you will pay this fee on each separate transaction. This fee goes directly to Sports Connect and is also non-refundable.

Please note that Divisions may fill up early.  You may find that your Division is temporarily full and on waitlist status.  Sometimes this even happens during Early Registration.  There is no guarantee of a playing spot because we must have enough Volunteer Coaches to run all of the teams.  We are a 100% Volunteer Run Organization.  If your child is placed on the waitlist and you would like to ensure that they play, Volunteer to Coach!!  Please contact your Division Commissioner (contact info on Board of Directors page) for details.  If you have any questions about volunteering, please check out our Volunteer page or email the Regional Coach Administrator ([email protected])


Refund Policy
 
All refunds are for Region 18 Registration Fees (Division Price) ONLY and do not include the AYSO Membership Fee or SC Service Fees, which are NON-REFUNDABLE.  No refunds will be considered unless an email is sent to [email protected] copying [email protected] by the dates indicated.  Please include the player name and division in the email subject line.

• On or before July 15 (end of Regular Registration): full refund of the Registration Fee (Division Price) 

• July 16 - August 15: 50% refund of the Registration Fee (Division Price)

• NO refunds after August 15

Multi-Player Discount 
The Total Registration Fee is $90 for the 3rd or more players per family.  ($25 AYSO Membership Fee + $70 Region 18 Registration Fee)  Payment for all players must be paid in "one" (1) payment transaction for the system to process the discount. 

Team Formation 
The 5U and 6U Divisions work with their Division Commissioners to form teams and we do our best to keep friends together in small groups.  Recruit your Friends, Volunteer to Coach, and have a ton of fun as your kids learn soccer with their best buddies. 

The 7U Division and Older use player drafts to balance the teams in the Division.  It is likely that your child will know at least some of their teammates and this is a great opportunity for your child to meet other incredible children from our community.  The Player Draft also facilitates two of our core philosophies: Balanced Teams and Player Development.  We believe it is more fun to play with balanced, competitive teams.  We believe that the competition from balanced teams is better in the long run for player development.  There will be brand new kids on every team who are just discovering soccer, and there will be talented experienced players who are pushing their skills to another level.  See our Why AYSO page for more details.       

For the Fall Season, teams will be formed mid- to late-August.  For the Spring Season, teams will be formed late-February.  Once teams have been formed, you will be contacted by your player's Head Coach with additional information.  Please be patient and wait for the Head Coach or Division Commissioner to contact you.

VOLUNTEERS

Parents, we really need your help to make this program successful.  AYSO is an ALL-VOLUNTEER Organization.  The only way we can provide a top quality soccer league at such low prices, accessible to everyone, is thanks to the incredible dedication of hundreds of volunteers.  We need your time to help manage and support the teams, games, fields, and logistics for each division.

And for the record, Volunteering is FUN!! 

While all Volunteer positions are important, we are in particular need of COACHES and REFEREES.
