American Youth Soccer Organization Providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.

Volunteer

AYSO Region 18 is a 100% Volunteer Organization

Every Coach for every team and every Referee for every game is a Volunteer from our Community.  All Field Administration, Equipment Management, Scheduling, Mentoring, Registration, Accounting, and Technology assistance is provided by a volunteer.  Every Division Commissioner and every Board Member is a volunteer.  We could not provide such an incredible soccer experience for thousands of kids from our community without the immeasurable generosity of hundreds of volunteers every season.

We know you're life is hectic and busy and crazy.  We know you are juggling kids and work and all the great social things that South Bay has to offer.  We know you're probably juggling multiple kids playing multiple sports, with conflicting schedules and every league is asking for your time.  We know, because that's us too.

We ask you to please find some way to volunteer to help our community soccer program.  We are always in desperate need of Coaches and Referees.  Every team needs 2 coaches and every game needs 3 referees.  We are also in need of help with Team Parents, Team Photographers, Field Setup, Fundraising, Scholarships, Technology/Social, and about a dozen great programs that the Board would like to do if we had the bandwidth.

There is no experience or expertise necessary.  We will train you for any and all roles.  You do not need to be a parent of a current participant.  We have tremendous Youth Volunteers.  We have incredible Volunteers who simply love the game and the organization.  If you have any interest at all, please reach out to any one of the Board Members (all names, roles, and emails are on the Contact Us page).  If you do not know who to contact, email our Regional Commissioner Krista Skinner at [email protected].

Volunteering is incredibly rewarding.  You'll be making a positive impact in the lives of thousands of South Bay kids.  You will help to knit the fabric of this community.  You're time will be paid back with countless smiles and incredible memories.  You will be one of the reasons that our little slice of paradise is the greatest place to live in the whole world.  And honestly, it takes a lot less work than you think to make a big difference.
