Q: What does AYSO stand for?
A: American Youth Soccer Organization.
Q: What kind of program is it?
A: This is a National Youth Recreational soccer program where children are placed onto teams, learn about soccer, and play in organized games.
Q: Who can register?
A: Boys and girls ages 3-18 years are eligible to play.
Q: Is it ok if my child has never played before?
A: Absolutely! In our region, by rule, each child is guaranteed to play at least 1/2 of every game!
Q: What does division 6U mean?
A: 6U means 6 years old and under. 8U means 8 years old and under and so forth. Your child's division is determined by birth year.
Q: How many divisions are there?
A: There are 8. Playground, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U19.
Q: How does Playground Soccer work?
A: AYSO Playground is a unique program designed by child development and soccer experts to give your child a foundation for sports success. Players and a parent* (or other adult) will participate weekly in age appropriate, storybook adventures. Your player will hop, skip, jump, run, throw, balance, kick… and play. *Parent participation is required.*
Q: When are registrations?
A: For the Fall Season, registrations will begin in June. For the Spring Season, registrations will being in January. When they become available, dates will be posted on our website, Facebook page, and Instagram page.
Q: How do I register?
A: All player and volunteer registrations are completed online. If this is your child's first season playing, you will need to include the birth certificate in the online registration. See registration tab on website for all details.
Q: Where can I get a registration form?
A: There are no more forms. Registration and payment can be completed online right here on this website. Click "Registration Instructions" tab for step by step instructions.
Q: When does the season start?
A: Fall season starts in August. Spring season starts in March.
