Game and Practice Volunteers

Coaches

• Plan and conduct practices, coach games. Online training and resources available.

• 1-3 hours per week during season

• 13-15 volunteers needed

Assistant Coaches

• Assist coach with practices and games.  Fill in for coach if needed. Online training available.

• 1-3 hours per week during season

• 13-15 volunteers needed

Referees

• Officiate games.  Online and classroom training available.

• 1-3 hours per week during season, depending on age level

• 3-4 volunteers needed

Linesman

• Assist referee by flagging sidelines.  Greatest need for U10 and above.  Conveniently flag lines while attending your child’s game.  Parents may alternate games to fill this need.  Training available.

• 1-3 hours per week during season, depending on age level.

• 6+ volunteers needed

Field and Equipment Maintenance

Field Manager

• Coordinate volunteers to complete periodic field maintenance.

• 4 hours per season

• 1 Luck and 1 Frederic volunteer needed

Initial Field Set-Up

• Striping fields, setting up goals, placing flags, and repairing nets as needed at Luck and Frederic fields.

• 4 hours per season

• 10-12 volunteers needed

Striping fields

• Restriping faded field lines periodically throughout the season. This can conveniently be done while your child is practicing.  Sign up for one or more session.

• 1-2 hours per session

• 4-8 volunteers needed

End of the Year Maintenance

• Moving soccer goals to designated location on field.  Flag removal.  

• 1+ hours per season

• 2-3 volunteers needed

Equipment Manager

• Monitor equipment needs.  Coordinate set up of coach bags by other volunteers prior to season.  Collect coach bags following season.

• 2-3 hours per season

• 1 volunteer needed

Equipment Committee

• Set up coach bags at start of the season, replacing items as needed.

• 1-2 hours per season

• 2-3 volunteers needed

Administrative/Other

Board Members

• Attend approx 6 meetings per year.  Offer input and help make decisions for soccer club.

• Time varies

• 4+ additional volunteers needed

Fundraiser Committee

• Implement annual fundraiser, coordinate distribution of  materials to families, handle product distribution, etc.

• 3-5 hours per season

• 4 volunteers needed

Picnic Committee

• Plan annual picnic, create and distribute flyers, set-up and take-down for event.

• 4-5 hours per season

• 4-6 volunteers needed
