Thank you so much for being willing to volunteer your time to be a coach in AYSO Region 55. Our goal is to give you everything you need to have a positive experience. Who can coach?

The most important quality we look for is people who get “it”. What is “it”? AYSO’s Six Philosophies: Everyone Plays®, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development. And most importantly, understanding that the example we set as coaches is not about a win at all costs attitude but rather creating a positive experience for children that will build friendships, create memories and develop character that translates on and off a soccer field.....There is no “I” in Team but there is a “u” in volunteer!

What do I need to do to coach?

1.   Let us know you’re interested in coaching a team by emailing us. This will get you on our coach contact list so you will receive all of the latest details on the upcoming season.

2.   Fill out your volunteer application at https://ayso.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=808168&isLogin=True This registers you as a volunteer in the AYSO national database (please note: this must be done annually).

4.   Complete AYSO’s Concussion Training @ www.aysou.org

5.   Attend one of the Coach Training classes based on the requirements below:
