Practice Space Request Instructions

1. In general, practices should begin at the top of the hour (4pm, 5pm, 6pm) but may begin on the half hour where scheduling allows.

2. AYSO Fall Core teams may practice twice a week for one hour before the first games of the season. After the first game, U6 and U8 teams may practice only once per week. AYSO Spring Core teams may practice once a week for one hour. Select, Extra, and club teams may practice twice a week for one and a half hours.

3. La Puerta Park fields and the upper (East) Padua Park fields are lighted Mondays through Thursdays from September 1 through April 1. Mt. View Elementary fields are lighted Mondays through Fridays all year.  

4. Fields at Griffith Park, Lewis Park, West Padua Park (lower fields), and South Larkin Park DO NOT have lighted fields. In early Spring and Fall, these fields may not be practical to use. Please plan accordingly. We attempt to accommodate requests to change practice field locations as the evening lighting changes, but we can't always do so.

5. The youngest divisions (U6 and U8) have preference at Lewis and Larkin Parks and may practice at Mt. View Elementary. U10 and U12 have preference at Mt. View Elementary, but may practice at La Puerta or Padua. U12, U14, and U16 have preference at La Puerta Park and Padua Park but may practice at Mt. View during later hours. We leave these guidelines flexible to accommodate coaches who have multiple teams.

6. Foothill Storm club teams may practice at La Puerta. Claremont Stars club teams may practice at Padua. AYSO Select, Extra, and United teams may practice at La Puerta, Padua, Mt. View, and Griffith Parks.
