Refereeing is an important part of AYSO. Simply put, we cannot play games without the men and women in yellow. It's rewarding working with kids and can be a lot of fun as well.
To become a referee, all you need to do is complete a Basic Referee Class. Visit our Referee Training page to see dates of upcoming classes.
We will bring you along slowly and as you gain experience and confidence, you can progress to the higher levels.
Refereeing is also key to our Jurupa Cup. In order for teams to qualify for the season-ending tournament, teams must earn 48 volunteer points, 28 of which must come from refereeing.
