Referee assignments will be as follows for each field for 10U, 12U and 14U:

Teams playing game 4 of the day will provide referees for game 3 of the day.

This pattern will continue until all games on the field have been assigned.

The Home team must provide the center referee and the away team must provide the 2 assistant referees to complete the referee crew. Arrangements can be made between the 2 to switch assignments if both teams agree to the switch prior to the game.

10U, 12U and 14U Teams

There will be an end of season tournament to determine who will represent Region 665  in Area (Lancaster) play. All teams will play and have a chance to win, but only teams with enough referee points are eligible to move on to the Area tournament in Lancaster.

16U and 19U Teams

These teams are also required to fulfill the 20 point requirement for referee points. All teams will play and have a chance to be invited to Area play, but only teams with enough referee points are eligible to move on to the Area tournament.

Since these teams will not be assigned to referee specific games, the U8 games and any games not covered by other teams will be available to earn the required points.

Come to the referee tent at the field on Saturday to sign up. First come, first serve. Games may be signed up in advance also at the fields.

Referee Responsibilities

  • Checkin with the referee tent at least 30 minutes prior to sign in for the games to be officiated. If you are not able to referee an assigned game, please try to find a substitute. That substitute can earn points for your team if they do not need them for their own team. If a substitute can’t be found, or they take the points for themselves, no points will be credited to your team.
  • Be dressed and ready to go on the field at game time.
  • All referees must turn in the game cards immediately after the game completion
  • All referees are responsible for making sure they have given their points to the correct team. Points will be posted for all to view or access throughout the season. Any mistakes must be brought to attention immediately.

Youth referees

Our youth referees will not be assigned to any specific games. They may earn points for their own teams but may also be available to earn points for other teams. Come to the referee tent to make arrangements for youth referee coverage.
