** Your child may be placed on a waitlist upon registering for the fall season. We do this so that we can be sure we have enough coaches to volunteer for the number of players. As a parent, please highly consider being a coach for your child's team. **

Who?
Registration for players is open to all who meet eligibility requirements. Please see the information directly above.
Registration for volunteers is open for everyone willing to help!
What?
Registration is required to be a participant in AYSO. Registration allows the players & volunteers to be covered by AYSO insurance should anything happen.
When?

There will be "Uniform Days" emailed to everyone in the coming weeks to ensure that all children receive their uniform and ball. New players must provide a copy of their birth certificate at this time!!!!
How?
To speed your child's registration process, we ask that you adhere to the following instructions:

The system will automatically filter your child into the appropriate age bracket once you enter their Date of Birth.

- Pre-register each child and/or yourself by registering a new account and logging into our new AYSO Blue Sombrero website [https://ayso.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=837904]. Please follow the instructions on the website.
- Download and complete a medical release form for each child. Our region's medical release form is here.
- Come to our "Uniform Day" that will be communicated through email/ Facebook. Please bring the following items with you:
- (1) Copy of the Medical Release Form.
- Your child's Birth Certificate if he/she has not played in our region before. This is for age verification only and will only need to be shown at the time of registration.

Costs?
The Board of Directors sets the registration rates each year based on the annual budget. The costs listed below are approximate and may not be correct for the current season.
Delegation of $65 fee:
$45- "Region Fee" (used within Bloomsburg towards field maintenance, program maintenance, coach trainings and clearances, etc.)
$25- "National Player Fee" (goes directly to the national office to cover insurance for your player)
Registration Fee (first/ only player) $ 65
Registration Fee (additional sibling(s)) $5 discount for each additional player

| Each child shall receive a FREE soccer ball for them to keep. This ball must be brought for practice. |

Parent Volunteers
Bloomsburg AYSO is always looking for motivated people interested in helping our program with all the various tasks it requires to run smoothly. Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Parents, Field workers, and Board Members are all vital to our continued success. NO PRIOR SOCCER EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY for you to volunteer. AYSO has extensive training for all positions. Please sign up on the new AYSO Blue Sombrero website under the tab "Volunteer". Help us make AYSO the Premier Child Development Organization in the country.
How do I register to volunteer?
From your account, click on the Volunteer tab. On this page, click on "Find Volunteer Roles". Choose the role you would like to volunteer for.
Other Questions
Can we choose which team a player is on or which coach our child will have?
NO. Coaches are allowed to have their own children on their team and may choose an assistant coach OR referee with their child. All other children are assigned randomly to achieve a fair balance of players based on age and ability. No other special arrangements will be made. Requests for friends, neighbors, etc. can not be honored.
Can families request that siblings be on the same team?
YES. Siblings will be placed on the same team at your request. The siblings must be in the same Age Division.
