Here is the important information you need to know to be trained and referee in Region 69.
We are offering two Basic Referee Online Companion Courses for all new referees in any division, those returning referees who are moving up from U06 to U08 and those who simply want a refresher course:
Sunday August 28th (roster# 201601796) - 8am -1pm (U6 and U5 ends at 11 am)
Palisades High School, Room B101 (Gilbert Hall) (See below for directions)
Sunday September 11th (roster# 201601797) 2016 - 8am -1pm (U6 and U5 ends at 11 am)
Wear comfortable clothes: sneakers, shorts and sunscreen recommended.
These course dates are your only chance to be trained in Pacific Palisades. Courses tend to be oriented toward each particular region's procedures, so we prefer that you attend our clinic. You may find a complete listing in any community by logging into www.eAYSO.org. Go to "Enroll to take a class and set your preferences."

Make sure you complete the following steps before you attend the course on 8/28 or 9/11:
1- You must be a registered volunteer with AYSO National before you take the course. If you did not register as a new or returning volunteer at the time of your child's registration this year, go to http://www.eayso.org/ and follow the instructions to “APPLY as a New Adult Volunteer” or “APPLY As a Continuing Adult Volunteer.” You must renew your registration each year. Youth Volunteers are also required to follow the same procedure using the Youth Volunteer directions. NOTE your AYSO volunteer ID for the next two steps (on the bottom left hand side).
2- You must take the ONLINE Concussion Awareness Course and AYSO’s Safe Haven at www.aysotraining.org or you may take the webinar version. www.ayso.org Bring your certificate to the course.
3- You are REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE BASIC REFEREE COURSE at www.aysotraining.org. You will know you have completed the course when a certificate appears on your screen. Please print this certificate and bring to the course.
Directions to Palisades Charter High – Room B101 (Gilbert Hall)
From Pali Village, Sunset to Temescal Canyon . Turn left on Temescal. Turn right on Bowdoin. Turn into second or third driveway. Proceed to the faculty parking lot. B101 is the bldg. on the right just before the parking lot.
