Spring Select 2026

Program Overview

2026 SPRING SELECT PROGRAM

AYSO Spring Select is a competitive season for teams that play in matches and tournaments all across Southern California. It is a great way for the players to improve their skills as soccer players in a fun and competitive environment. The purpose of this team is to allow those players who have demonstrated soccer ability and who have displayed an attitude for fair play, enthusiasm and cooperative team spirit to participate on a team of players who have similar qualifications.

Participation on this team requires an increased commitment from both parents and players, including attendance at all practices and matches as well as a sense of responsibility toward coaches and other team members.  This team will compete in tournament play; these tournaments include travel and both Saturday and Sunday matches. The team is financially self-supporting, so fund-raising will be required for each player and parents are expected to participate.

In the 2026 season, Area R will partner with Area N and H for additional teams to play and variety within the spring select season.

IMPORTANT!

Coach Badge (Required)
Badge must be complete, signed, and laminated prior to team's first game. Coach and Assistant Coach are required to have Identification Badges. Coach badge must be worn at all times during pre-match activities and for the duration of the match.

Match Cards (Required)
Match card is required for all matches. Each coach should fill out a match card for their team prior to each match.  The card must be filled out completely and turned into the referee prior to the start of the match along with the Team Photo Roster. Players' full name should be entered in jersey number order. The host region is required to maintain the match cards until after the post-season tournaments have been completed.
