We Region 75 of the American Youth Soccer Organization. We were chartered in 1974 and we provide a fun recreational & competitive youth soccer programs to the children and youth of the City of Whittier and the surrounding communities. In AYSO, Everyone Plays! We emphasize balanced teams, fair play, good sportsmanship, positive coaching and player development. Everyone in AYSO Region 75, every board member, coach, referee and team administrator, is a volunteer. Join us!

We're well known for our six core philosophies as expressed in our mission statement: To develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on our philosophies:
EVERYONE PLAYS - Your child is guaranteed to play at least 50% of each game, regardless of his or her level of skill or aptitude.
BALANCED TEAMS - Team balancing promotes the AYSO philosophy stressing team participation not winning. Every player should have an equal opportunity to be on a winning team, independent of skills. We try to set up teams at the beginning of the season to make them as balanced as possible.
OPEN REGISTRATION - Our program is open to all children between 4 and 19 years of age who want to register and play soccer. There are no tryouts to "make the team", no reserved places, girls participate as well as boys, and beginners are just as welcome as skilled players. Interest and enthusiasm are the only criteria for playing.
POSITIVE COACHING - We say, winning kids comes first, winning games comes second. Kids thrive on encouragement. The extra effort it takes to offer positive help to our players, rather than negative criticism, is an investment in the future of all our kids - on or off the playing field.
GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP - AYSO creates a positive environment based on mutual respect, rather than a "win at all cost" attitude and our program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of AYSO.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT - We believe that all players should be able to develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both individually and as members of a team, in order to maximize their enjoyment of the game.
AYSO is a national organization focused on the local program or REGION. A REGION is usually a city or community that provides soccer programs for local children. A number of regions in the same general geographic location are grouped together and supported in an AREA by an AREA Staff headed by an Area Director. Several adjacent Areas are grouped together and are serviced in a SECTION by a SECTION Staff led by a Section Director.
AYSO is an "all volunteer" organization. Each parent or guardian who has a player in the Region is strongly encouraged to volunteer his or her valuable time and service in some way. All board members, referees, coaches, assistant coaches, assistant referees, field personnel and other volunteers DONATE THEIR TIME IN SUPPORT OF YOUR CHILDREN!
What better way for your child to learn how to be a part of his/her community than by your example! We do not adhere to boundaries in our region and therefore our region continues to grow along with the community. The more children that play, the more volunteers that are needed.
