Scholarship Program
Please see below to learn more about AYSO Region 97's scholarship program. Please take advantage of this program if you meet the eligibility requirements. Scholarships will cover all but the Annual $20 AYSO Membership Fee and the $2.75 per transaction fee.
Eligibility and Documentation
There are two ways to be eligible for a scholarship:
- Scholarships based on need and fund availability. Must provide proof of need by providing one of the following:
- Documentation showing you are receiving public assistance
- Documentation showing loss of job, unpaid furlough, or significant loss of work hours
- Documentation showing you are receiving unemployment benefits
- Military families automatically qualify for scholarships as long as funds are available
- Must provide military ID as proof.
NOTE: documentation provided will be deleted once verified.
Application Process
- Register online at www.newportayso.com. Complete the registration up to the point where it asks for your credit card info.
- Complete the Scholarship Form.
- Email documentation to [email protected] along with the additional requested documentation.
- You will be notified when you application is approved/rejected, and given instructions at that time.
