How to Register as a Volunteer Coach

Log into your AYSO account at www.ayso57.org.  If the account is under your spouse they will need to add you as a registered user.
Click on "Volunteer" in left hand column
Click on "Find Volunteer Roles" button on the upper right
Select 'Head Coach" and complete the form.
Please note you only need to fill in the sections marked with an asterisk. It only takes a minute when you do that.

You will then receive an email invitation from TheAdvocates@SterlingVolunteers.com to complete a Background Check. Please complete this as soon as possible.

Next you will need to complete the following Volunteer training requirements.

Click on "AYSOU" button on the upper right
Click on "Training Library" on the left hand side
Click on "Safe Haven" View Courses
You will need to enroll and complete AYSO Safe Haven Course, CDC Concussion Awareness, Simons Heart Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and SafeSport Training
Return to "Training Library"
Click on "Coaching" View Courses
Enroll and complete the coaching session for your age division.

Select 'Referee" and complete the form.

Enroll and complete the "Regional Referee - Online + In-Person Companion Course (2 Part Bundle)"
Once completed Click on "Training Event" on left hand side
Use the calendar to find the in-Person training potion of the referee course.
Enter your address in the location filter to find a nearby session.

Division Coordinators Needed

As the new season of AYSO soccer approaches, we are once again reaching out to our community for volunteers to serve as Division Coordinators. These positions are vital to the success of our league, as they provide support for our teams and players.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about soccer, committed to working with children, and eager to make a positive impact in their community. As a Division Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of our league, and to help provide an enriching and rewarding experience for the children who participate.

The responsibilities of a Division Coordinator include overseeing and coordinating the teams within their division, organizing games and practices, and communicating with coaches and parents. While the role does require a certain level of commitment and dedication, we provide training and support to all of our volunteers, and we believe that the rewards of serving in this capacity are well worth the effort.
