Scope:

AYSO Invitational – open to AYSO teams

When:

Friday, January 13, 2023, to Monday, January 16, 2023 (Martin Luther King Holiday)

Where:

The tournament will be held at Okeeheelee Park-Region 345-7715 Forest Hill Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL. There is no charge for parking. No pets are allowed at fields.

Who:

AYSO boys and girls teams in age divisions: 10U (2013-2014 birth year)11 players on roster 12U (2011-2012 birth year) 12 players on roster, 14U (2009-2010 birth year) 18 players on roster, 16U (2007-2008 birth year) 18 players on roster, 19U (2004-2006 birth year) 18 players on roster.   All players must be registered to play in the AYSO 2022 primary season. Co-ed teams will be accepted in boys’ divisions only.

What:

Pool play tournament. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of (3) three games. Specific match structures depend upon the number of teams entered

Awards:

Players on the First and Second place teams will receive a medal. . Players will receive a tournament T-shirt.

Entry Fee, Refunds:

Team Declaration of $300 per team for 10U, $400 per team for 12U, $425 per team for 14U, and $400 per team for 16U and 19U, and must be mailed in by the deadline of December 3, 2022. Each team must complete the Team Declaration form and submit with their registration fee and Referee Binder in order to be considered an applicant. Refund Policy: A full refund will be issued if the tournament is canceled and cannot be rescheduled. If a team withdraws from the tournament before December 21, 2022, a full refund is given. If a team is withdrawn after December 21, 2022, no refund is given unless a replacement team is found. No refunds will be issued if tournament is partially or cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

Referee Binder:

The Referee binder is $300 per team. The referee binder is meant to encourage and ensure that regions/teams send adequate and qualified referees to officiate the state games.  The result is better competition, experience, and fun for all participants (players, volunteers, and spectators).  Within 14 days, binders will be returned to the region (a self-addressed envelope for this purpose should be sent with entry forms) upon verification that all referee assignments for a team have been met. Verification will be done on a team-by-team basis.
