Outlined below is the standard format for our league in most years.  Final 2023 structure is still TBD

Divisions are as follows ("U" stands for "Under").  

Younger Divisions (U5 and U6)

U5 (Pre-K):  Jamboree style; Single group no preassigned teams.  Players must be 4 years old by September 1

U6 (K): Jamboree style; Single group no preassigned teams.

For these younger divisions, children are in one large group (jamboree style) for an hour on Sunday mornings for 6 weeks.  Rainouts might extend the season by a week or two.

Older Divisions (U8 and up)

Season runs for roughly 8 weeks.  Rainouts might extend the season by a week or two.

U8 (1st and 2nd Grade):

Assigned Teams.  Matches are 5v5 no goalkeepers 

Each week teams will meet twice
    60 minute game on Sundays
    We are also working to add a weeknight division-wide optional open skills session.  More details to follow once our field permits are finalized by the town and we have finalized our set of coaches..

U10 (3rd and 4th Grade):

Assigned Teams.  Matches are 7v7 with goalkeepers

Players are on a team and play games on Sundays.

We are also working to add either a midweek team practice or a division-wide optional open skills session.  More details to follow once our field permits are finalized by the town and we have finalized our set of coaches.

U12 (5th and 6th Grade):

Assigned Teams.  Matches are 9v9 with goalkeepers

Players are on a team and play games on Sundays and have a midweek practice as scheduled by his/her coach.

U12 generally play home games in Englewood and away at neighboring towns.

U14 (7th and 8th Grade):

Assigned Teams.  Matches are 11v11 with goalkeepers

Players are on a team and play games on Sundays and have a midweek practice as scheduled by his/her coach.
