IS THE ADULT LEAGUE AN AYSO PROGRAM?

Yes. The league is part of the North American Adult Soccer Association (NAASA). NAASA is in fact a division inside AYSO.

HOW COMPETITIVE IS THE LEAGUE?

This is a recreational adult soccer program. No minimum requirement of soccer or physical skill is required. The league is designed to accommodate a wide range of player skill levels. Some players have never played soccer before, while other are highly skilled. The only requirement is that you come out to have some fun. The intent is to play soccer on the weekend and then go to work on Monday.

IS THE PROGRAM OPEN TO ANYONE?

While the motivation behind the creation of this program comes from the parents, older siblings, and volunteers involved in our youth programs, the adult league is open to anyone 19 years or older. (Coed - 19 years of age and older, Tier 2 - 38 years of age and older)

HOW WILL COED TEAMS WORK?

The Coed teams will play 9v9 with a maximum of 6 men (minimum of 3) women on the field for each team at all times.

CAN I PLAY ON MORE THAN ONE TEAM?

A player is free to play on multiple teams so long as they are only playing on one team per division. For example, a player may play on a Tier 2 (men's) team and a Coed team if the like. However, the league will not be able to make any special scheduling arrangements for players on multiple teams.

WILL MY FRIENDS AND I BE PLACED ON THE SAME TEAM?

Players are free to buddy-up, form their own team or they can just register and we will find them a spot on a team. There will be a limited number of teams. Applications received after the teams are formed are placed on teams with space available or placed on a waiting list.

WHEN WILL GAMES BE PLAYED?

Games are played on Sunday's.  We try to schedule games in the afternoon or evening, but some games may be scheduled in the morning based on the field availability.

The spring seasons usually start the second Saturday in March and fall leagues the Saturday after Labor Day. Our goal is to have at least 10 games each season.

WHERE WILL GAMES BE PLAYED?

Games will be played on fields in the City of Tustin and Hicks Canyon Elementary and in the Costa Mesa at Killybrooke Elementary. We have an occasional game at the Orange County Great Park Soccer Complex in Irvine.

NAASA ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP: $30.00

This fee pays for the player's accident & liability insurance for the membership year. The membership year runs from August 1, 2017 through  July 31. If a player decides to play in multiple programs a year (fall, spring, summer, tournaments), they will only be asked to pay the membership fee once a year.

SEASON PROGRAM FEES: $70.00

This fee will cover all program expenses specifically related to the fall season program.  All unused funds will be donated to our local AYSO youth programs.

UNIFORMS

Players order their uniforms directly from our official uniform vendor.  A full uniform kit (two jerseys, one pair of short and two pairs of socks) will cost approximated $65.00 + shipping.  Uniform ordering instructions are available on our league site and will be emailed to players once they have registered for the season.

We will continue to use Score as our uniform provider using the same uniform style as past seasons.  There is no need to order a new uniform if you have played with us in past seasons and still have your uniform.

REFEREE FEES:

Fees are paid in cash directly to the referees on the field. Team managers will coordinate the collection of the referee fees once a team has been formed.

Paid in cash at the field before each game.

  • Three-man crew - $72.00 per team.
  • Two-man crew - $60.00 per team.
  • One-man crew - $45.00 per team.
