Registration Age Breakdown

The effective date of age determination for registration shall be the player's age as of December 31 looking ahead of the Membership Year.  
How does it really work? Registration for MY2022 for a player that is presently 11 and turns 12 at any time in 2023 will be in the 12U division.  If a player is presently 12, but turns 13 during the fall of 2022 or in 2023, s/he will be in 14U.
