Available Training

Thank you for volunteering to coach for AYSO soccer.  There are some background checks that must be received by AYSO National to allow you to officially coach.  You will also have to complete some basic online training on AYSO's website that includes age specific coaching and concussion awareness. 

More basic information is currently available online at www.ayso.org. 

Background Checks Information:

After registering to coach, you should have received a confirmation email from AYSO. This email will contain information about completing a background check. 
There is also a link to Safesport training that is required for all volunteers. 

In addition to the confirmation email, you should receive an email from [email protected]. If you haven't seen this email, please check your junk/spam folder. 
A background check is required every year. If you just completed one for the Spring season, you won't need to do another one. Everybody else will be required.
Please follow the link in this email to complete your background checks asap. Pennsylvania requires the PA child abuse clearance as well. You will receive an authorization code so that there is no cost for this. If you miss this code, please forward your receipt to [email protected] for reimbursement.

This must all be completed as soon as possible. Players cannot be assigned to a coach until all background checks are verified.

Online Training on the new AYSOU website:
In addition to the Safesport training, there are a few others that are required. They are only required once, not every year; so if you already completed them, you don't need to do them again.
