Positive Coaching & Player Development
A coach can be the most influential person in a child’s life. In AYSO, Positive Coaching is a fundamental philosophy because of the crucial role that a coach has. Coaching in AYSO is a chance to spend quality time with your own child but you’ll also provide an important role model for all the children on your team. In fact, the joy of coaching is so meaningful, that many AYSO coaches continue coaching long after their own children have moved on from AYSO.

New to Coaching? We'll train you!
Many of our first-year coaches have never coached or necessarily even played soccer before but yet have a very successful year. For those of you who are considering coaching your child but do not feel comfortable yet with your knowledge of the game, we offer plenty of Training Clinics and support to make your experience a success! Thanks to a deepened partnership between AYSO and TeamSnap, coaches across the country now have access to a fully animated, app-first curriculum via the MOJO app (now part of TeamSnap). This includes:
