EXTRA is designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills and abilities and to enhance each player's experience and individual growth through the game of soccer while retaining the spirit and organization of AYSO.
Players need to be registered on a house team before they can tryout for this team.
EXTRA teams will have up to 2 additional practices per week besides their house team practices.  Games are played on Sunday afternoons generally a week after our regular season begins.  
Players are evaluated by an unbiased panel of advanced coaches during the tryouts and picked for these teams by this panel NOT by the coach of each team.
