- Every player should play at least 50% of the game, ideally 75%.
Game Setup
- Parents arrive early and help setup goals for the field their team is assigned to.
- Field assignment can be found on the schedule that will be posted at the field by the entrance gate at the small parking lot.

The Game- Beginning of game will be used for coaches to warm up and do basic drills with team (approx 10 minutes)
- Start of play will be kick-off at center of field
- Game length: Four 7 minute quarters
- Throw inʻs for balls played outside the touchline
- Corner kicks are used.
- Goal kicks: Ball to be placed 1 yard in front of the goal
- No slide tackling
- No free kicks (explain infraction t both teams, restart with drop ball)
- No heading the ball - penalty will be a throw in for the opposing team
- Game should end 5 mins before the end of the hour to allow for easy transition for next game.
Coaching- Coaches should be on the field guiding the players and coaching in a positive manner.
Referees- No referees. Coaches manage game.
- The barest of minimum rules are needed and should be applied with a generous amount of flexibility.
- Let the players have the freedom to play with minimum interruption (focus on no-handling the ball, restarts when the ball goes out of bounds or into the goal).
